More than half of Americans think that the president has personally encouraged foreign nations to interfere in the U.S. election system, according to a new poll.

"Less that two-thirds, 62 percent, of Americans now believe that U.S. elections are fundamentally "fair," according to the poll."

That a number even approaching 62 percent just demonstrates incredible ignorance on the part of Americans about their own election system.

"Majority Believe Dotard Encouraged Election Interference"

Sure, but that doesn't really matter. What matters is how many of the people who choose the winners of Republican primaries believe it.

A majority of Americans appear to see Trump as a traitor.

Most Americans are correct.

The GOP cares not a whit about the will of most Americans.

Yeah, but see, election interference with a foreign power isn't impeachable.... just ax' OJ's former Dream Team lawyer. He has a similar client now.

Should be: Majority Are Aware That Trump Historically, and Continually, Encourages Election Interference

And that means Trump can do whatever he wants now include bribe a foreign country to announce an investigation into a political opponent?

At least you are honest in your opinion.

Well, duh, of course he encouraged foreign interference. Even Trump's supporters believe he encouraged foreign interference although they lie by denying it. The real issue is whether or not the majority of people, Republican or Democrat or Independent, feel that it is acceptable. Because everyone knows he did it before and is doing it again.

The Steele Dossier being "central and essential" to investigating an opposing campaign is the epitome of soliciting foreign influence in our elections.

Yeah, I remember when Hillary threatened an ally who was at war with withholding military aide unless she got the Steele Dossier.

Riiiight!

So ask Marco Rubio why he commissioned it?

You mean the dossier that wasn't released to the public until after the election? That dossier? That you claim is the EPITOME of soliciting foreign influence in our elections? That dossier? Which WASNT used to influence our election, because it wasn't released until AFTER the election.

You, sir, are a lying POS.

This is what is wrong with America

He encourages foreign influence in our election
He does so repeatedly and publicly
He seeks influence from numerous countries
He brags about encouraging foreign influence in our election
He says there is nothing wrong with encouraging foreign influence in our election
He is investigated for encouraging foreign influence in our election
He is impeached for encouraging foreign influence in our election

Yet 44% of people don't think he encouraged foreign influence in our election

"Yet 44% of people don't think he encouraged foreign influence in our election."

That 44% would claim that they don't think he encouraged foreign influence in our election. Yes, we know that but we also know that a high percentage of that 44% are f*****g liars.
What is happening today is going to have long term consequences for our nation, our Presidents, going forward, will believe they are immune from any checks and balances and become more and more like dictators. I wish to thank all the Republican voters here who enable these criminals to take over our government and nation. I'm quite sure you all will live to regret your actions but I doubt that 1% of you will ever have the courage and honesty to admit it. Y'all are the "mob" drunk with "power" seriously thinking that those who you enable to seize power will ever use that power against you or your interests. In most countries when things like this happen, the enablers suffer just as much as those who opposed those dictators.

The rumors were out before the election and dutifully reported by the MSM. I did get the timing of the Buzzfeed release of the Dossier wrong though - they released it before the inauguration but it was after the election.

Re 20

Misspoke huh?

Fake news is not a mistake. Fake news is done intentionally.

With a purpose of manipulating the narrative.

And you are easily manipulated.

Obviously.

It wasn't a lie to you until someone a like more careful with their facts pointed out the actual facts to you.

Anyway. Maybe try another lie but it won't change a thing. It's too late. You built what is coming.

Blue on Black. .

They didn't ask the question right

Denying it happened trolls the libs, so that's sufficient reason to deny it.
Facts aren't nearly as important as trolling the libs.
Don't you know why they come here, to talk to libs?

"NO COLLUSION."

How many hundred times did we hear Trump rant that claim during the two-year Mueller investigation. "NO COLLUSION" meant, "Hey, even if the Russians did interfere in the 2016 election, which they didn't, I had nothing to do with it."

Now, Trump quite openly asks both Ukraine and China to interfere in our 2020 election. See Oct. 3, 2019 White House release: www.whitehouse.gov

So, what happened to "NO COLLUSION"? Haven't heard that claim in months. Now it's "We do it all the time. ... Get over it!"

The ACA is at the core of your mad. That Kenyan outdid you... solidly kicked your @$$.

You know, and I consider Jeff to be one of the smarter conservatives on this site. Yet he time and again breathlessly falls for GOP lies, fake news, and propaganda. Seriously... he lived through it, tracking the election day by day. And he can't even remember that basic fact?

I guess when you are the smartest kid on the short bus, it still doesn't say much.

"Hillary and Obama's collusion scam."

You must've missed the part in the Mueller Report where he concluded Junior, et al, were TOO STUPID to know they were breaking the conspiracy law.

#29 | Posted by Danforth at 2020-01-23 05:06 PM | Reply

I did miss that and a word search for "TOO STUPID" doesn't return anything. Can you let me know upon which page and line you found this?
