I didn't think it was possible for me to have a lower opinion of Trump. I hope every vet sees this.

And relative to TET, which as a marine I, Donald, won single-handedly, Iraq never was much of a war.

The day will come when we know the full story of Trump. On that day the air will be filled with the sounds of retching and puking.

Republicans at least since 2004 have been anxious to dismiss any politically inconvenient battle wounds.

Let's review. Donald Trump came close to starting a great big war by killing someone's national hero. Just imagine how we would respond if it had been Jared Kushner....No, may a poor example.

But Trump said he's wage war if Iran dared retaliate and then Iran retaliated and then Trump ran away, ran away.

His fig leaf for cowardice and selling wolf tickets was "no Americans hurt". Now that Americans are found to be hurt his fees-fees are damaged and he wants to make sure everyone understands that what these servicemen have are not really battle wounds.

So, he didn't actually start a war.

But Trump said he's wage war if Iran dared retaliate and then Iran retaliated and then Trump ran away, ran away.

So Iran dials up an absolutely tepid response, Trump allows them to save face and diffuse the situation and you are angry that he didn't ratchet things up toward an actual war?

They underwent concussion protocol which is standard operating procedure when being in close proximity to an explosion. None of those soldiers took any shrapnel.

Yes, let's.

How many wars has Trump started?

Who is the only two term president to have the country in war his entire tenure? (hint: He won the Nobel Peace Prize)

And the guy who STARTED those wars didn't make your list because we were at war for ONLY seven of his eight year term of office.

"So, he (Trump) didn't actually start a war".

This is weird. The man tried to. He went at least two big steps that direction. We don't have one now because he chickened-out; the second such occasion of cowardice towards Iran is the last several months.

"So Iran dials up an absolutely tepid response, Trump allows them to save face"

Iran gave themselves and Trump an off-ramp, in a way that allowed Trump to save face. Again, the reminder: Trump threatened full-scale war if Iran did anything at all.

"you are angry that he didn't ratchet things up toward an actual war?"

I'm very glad there was no war. I'm glad that Trump's cowardice worked for us this time.

Is it any surprise that a guy who places very little importance on the use of his brain would not see brain injuries as a serious matter?

What Trump means is that this isn't a serious political liability to him, as compared to images of soldiers hit by shrapnel or blown to bits. He knows nothing other than what looks/sounds bad on TV, and literally everything he thinks is filtered through that lens and that lens only.

How many wars has Trump ended? You can't compare Obama's and Trump's respective war records when they're fighting the same wars.

Of course he doesn't think brain injuries are a big thing, I mean he wants the NFL to return to the days when players finished their careers with nothing but porridge between their ears. But look at Combover Quisling, he became president with no evidence at all of having a brain!

I know about a dozen 20-30 somethings who suffered minor injuries while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan... minor injuries that have left them with ringing in their ears lasting years. One of the problems of "non-serious injuries" of that nature is they drive people crazy... literally. What a coinkydink that veterans of those conflicts are killing thems3lves in record numbers.

Feckless pigbrains.

It's really getting disgusting watching you try to defend this lying Bastage.

The Donald obviously doesn't think the brain is an important organ. In his case it's kind of superfluous like an appendix. A vestigial organ.

They airlifted some of the soldiers.

That's how serious the concussions were. The military said some had serious brain trauma. These weren't standard concussions like in football where they go through concussion protocol in the locker room before going on the field again or back in practice the next day.

If we are air lifting soldiers for concussions, we are talking less about football type concussions and more like concussions from a serious motorcycle accident. I've visited clients in the hospital after major concussions. Some had life long brain injuries that severely impaired their lives.

What wars? Bush said we won both of those and just had forces on the ground to help the local governments.

Ironically, I remember Republicans going nuts that Obama was withdrawing any soldiers from Iraq.
