It's unbelievable that Eli has 2 rings and Dan Marino has none.

I'm glad he's retiring as a Giant instead of switching teams and sucking like Favre, McNabb, and others.

That's always sad to watch.

Shocker. Will retire as "Peyton's little brother".

He should be forced to play for the Chargers for a year!

Both times he denied the Patriots another chance at a super bowl win!

Yeah Gonole I see your point.

Peyton's 2 rings + Eli's 2 rings + Big Ben's 2 rings = Brady's SIX rings

Haters will be haters!

Brady is averaging going to the Superbowl every other year of his career, and winning it every third year. That's absurd.

Tom Brady had to cheat to win unlike Eli.

All the teams push it. As do individual players. Any little advantage. It's why steroid use is rampant in the NFL even though it is banned. Deflate gate - yep that is a blemish.

Favre took the Vikings to the NFC Championship and lost in overtime to a cheating Saints team (remember the bounty they had for injuring quarterbacks?).

Why? Football is the ultimate team game...one man isn't doing it alone.

Give Eli Manning credit, the guy made BIG plays in the BIG moments.

Played the toughest position in sports, in the toughest city for sports, and did it with style.

Super bowl mvp x2 and faced a legendary undefeated Pats team in the SB and won.

There was a great comment elsewhere that stuck with me: if he was Eli Jones (no Manning family legacy/HoF politics), and you examine the body of work over a career, does he still become HoF-worthy? Possibly only good-but-not-great.

Wins aren't a great measure of a QB skill, but he's .500 on his career.

BABYHUEY & ABH, no doubt Brady will be the GOAT, and a first ballot, unanimous Hall of Fame entry. Not even mad at the success; after last season, the SB era might be over for the Pats.

^ Kirk Cousins is very underrated.

As is Matthew Stafford.
