American voters are ready to move on following the failed attempt to impeach President Trump, even if Democrats are not. "Impeachment is over and done with as far as most voters are concerned. The House Democrats' failed effort to remove President Trump has just made him stronger politically," said a Rasmussen Reports voter survey released Monday.

About 40% of those voters changed their minds in the last 24 hours. Personally, I'd say now is a perfect time to start impeachment all over again only this time get it right.

It's a moral imperative, these are desperate times, requiring a stupid and futile gesture be done on someone's part. A job only for Democrats. (I know Democrats hate words like work/jobs I hope you'll pardon me for using a pejorative.)

Already posted junk Rasmussen crap.

Now that Fat Nixon is going around retaliating against everyone that testified against him and is now admitting the crime publicly I expect this will change.

Besides, are they impeaching him AGAIN? I haven't seen anything so this poll is moot.

Most Republicans have traded in their bibles for a Rasmussen subscription.

Good. I'd much prefer the leadership of the country to be directed by the will of the voting public and not a 2k year old book of fables.

#5 If that was the case, Hillary would be President.

I'm sure you're aware and just pretending to be dumb, but the country leadership doesn't elect the President. The States do. So the leadership of the country has no say in who the president is, Hillary or not.

Trump impeaches Trump. The Democrats are only taking on a job that properly should be led by Republicans.

Oh, I hope that the dems continue attempting to impeach, that way when House members who's seats are in contention can go home and tell their constituents what they did these last two years. Their claim to fame will be Mueller investigation results, investigations and a failed impeachment attempt - that'll be great for their reelection, I am sure.

If democrats don't pursue Trumps crimes then they will lose my support.
We need at least one side protecting the people from tyranny and Republicans have proven they don't care anymore.

So which is it the will of the voting public or the states? The voting public said Hillary while the states said Donald.

Unfortunately too many don't feel that way and people like me see the futility of doing anything at this time. Vote him out then try him in court.

When will you trumptards get it. Impeachment is NOT about,"overturning" the "will of the voters". Impeachment is about separation of powers and rule of law. We have had 45 presidents, 3 have been impeached. The fact is impeachment is very rare. Trump was impeached on the WEAKEST charges the Dems had. The real crimes, emoluments, usurpation of powers not his reserved to the other branches. The dismantling of legal frameworks created lawfully by congress. The drone murders of foriegn leaders we were not at war with. And last but not least,General DOUCHEBAGGERY. We're never even raised. Nancy Pelosi has been feckless and stupid about the whole thing. They should have gone after Trump for EVERYTHING,not the two weakest things they had. It's almost like she WANTED to fail before they even started. I ask you honestly,If a Dem had done one TENTH of what Trump has what do you think a REPUBLICAN congress would have done to them?

No real answer, huh. What would the repubs have done? Do you even dare to Try to answer that honestly?

Trump has played the 3rd Dems like a fiddle. His accomplishments aren't even up for debate anymore. They have acknowledged that his policies work. The only message they can bring to voters is that they will try to accomplish the same outcome but not mean tweet while doing it. Great message Demoturds!

They wouldnt have tried to impeach just because Hillary won. Dems were talking impeachment when Trump was coming down the escalator.

Boaz. Did you catch#15? I. Voted. For. Trump. I was willing to give him every chance his first YEAR IN OFFICE. It was only when he began dismantling the endangered species act and opening up federal lands by EO. When it became apparent that he was going to weaken water protections and pollution regulations that were passed by congress. Then I began to HATE HIM. His constant self enrichment through his office also was a factor in my turning on him. Impeachment as Pelosi, persued it may have been partisan. But let's face it,The dude is throughly corrupt. Corrupt enough to be removed, and not for the Biden Ukraine schitt alone.

Disapproval of Hillary put Trump in. Questionable whether equal degree of disapproval of Dems will repeat.
