Trump administration officials investigating the government's response to Russia's election interference in 2016 appear to be hunting for a basis to accuse Obama-era intelligence officials of hiding evidence or manipulating analysis about Moscow's covert operation, according to people familiar with aspects of the inquiry.

Maybe we've been wrong about Durham.

Maybe he's the kamikaze sent to sink the IC to justify all the "deep state" nonsense these past three years.

A complete implosion of our national security infrastructure. To save Trump.

Does that mean you will dismiss whatever he uncovers if it isn't to your liking?

According to Barr, Obama would have been justified in spying on Trump and fabricating evidence to help Hillary win. So why even investigate.

Because Trump is a traitor and is projecting his crimes on to others, thats why.

Obama's problem was that he did not want his administration to appear to favor one candidate over another. Obama did meet with, among others, Sen. McConnell (R-Testudines), and it is widely reported that Mitch the lettuce eater refused to make the clear Russian interference a widely-known matter.

The CIA does not like to openly or widely distribute its intelligence, given the big mouths present among those who receive that work product. Remember how Trump and many around him were seen as lousy risks for top-secret clearance? There was a reason that the CIA didn't want to tell many what they had. The loudmouth Trump campaign, clearly already compromised, could have caused someone in Russia with CIA ties to fall into a wood chipper, or have a cup of polonium tea.

Like so many other Trump witch hunts, this one will go nowhere, since the results of the investigation will point to GOP operatives on Russia's payroll, and nobody wants to be outed as a Russian spy or dupe so close to the election...

Funny how Trumpers keep claiming there's all these huge conspiracies yet investigation after investigation carried out by Trumpers fail to establish evidence of these conspiracies. I wonder why that is. Could it be that the conspirators working for the government that Trumpers tell us can't do anything right are actually really amazingly good at covering their tracks? Or is it that Trumpers are absolutely horrible at investigations? Or is that they are just full of excrement?

Graham says Vindman was part of broader plot against President Trump by FBI Agents, CIA Agents and DOJ Lawyers.

"If Graham said it, it must be true!"

Alan Dershowitz: "If a president does something which he believes will help him get elected in the public interest, that cannot be the kind of quid pro quo that results in impeachment."

Where Obama failed is, he didn't go far enough to ensure HIllary's election.

Thank you CIA for not giving the traitors any actual secrets. They won't ever know if they just get pablum.

@#2 ... Does that mean you will dismiss whatever he uncovers if it isn't to your liking? ...

While you didn't direct your question towards me, I'll say that I still plan to read Mr Durham's report.

However, the recent actions of AG Barr and Mr Durham (as I have written about there over the past few weeks) has severely questioned the integrity and purpose of Mr Durham's investigation in my eyes.
