And where on the list of "Impeachable offenses" do we place this item?

Fascism at its worst.

Would not have been necessary of the House did their job instead of blocking funding for the same walls they were for just a few years ago.

Are there any laws, rules, regulations, or protocols Trump will follow?

More likely a Trump shell company, and the loot will go to Trump himself.

Trumphluffers will grin and admire the felonious half-wit for his 'resourcefulness'.

#4 has it occurred to you that the walls "they wanted built a few years ago" have been built or are in the works?

You seem to think support for a wall ever equates to blanket support for any wall.

The previous bills, which were passed by BOTH Republicans and Democrats, were for funding 'Border Security', very little of which was ever earmarked for anything resembling Trump's vision of a WALL.

Republicans had the House and the Senate for the first 2 years of Trump's presidency. During that time Trump didn't make a big push for the wall and nothing happened. After the GOP lost the House then it became a huge priority so Trump did an end-around Congress, which controls the purse strings, claimed an emergency and stole funds that were allocated for other purposes.

If Obama saying, "If congress won't act, I will." pissed you off then this should piss you off too.

Man oh man...
There are going to be shots fired and heavy equipment torched soon enough. Texans, even those who support Trump, do NOT like being pushed around and having their land stolen from them. Meanwhile, the Coyotes already know how to get their 'customers' over and around the Trump walls.

This is all for a series of photo ops at the border, and nothing more...

The actual landowners may not like it, but as long as it's someone else who gets their land stolen Texans are OK with it. Particularly if it pisses of libruls.

Anyone who hasn't connected the border wall to extortion doesn't know Trump's history with construction projects.

The best part will be it will be cost plus contract so when it blows down again they can charge double to fix it.

Just like with many military contracts, the border wall contracts with come with Exclusive Right to Repair clauses.

Meaning only the company that built that section is allowed to repair it and you don't get to negotiate on price because you can't go to competitors.

Speed it up?

Well they should because to date, they've only constructed five miles of brand new wall.

Overall, just 100 miles total, in which 95 miles is existing barrier.

So in Trump's first four years, he got basically 5% of the overall job done.

He better hope for "speedy" production.

So with regulations waived I suppose the contractors will be able to employ illegal aliens at 1/3 the cost of Americans to do the work and hey, if you don't like that he'll just tell them to build from the Mexican side of the border.
