Honestly, I hope that Warren withholds any endorsement at least until after the next rounds of primaries. Michigan is next Tuesday.

If Bernie loses to Biden in Michigan, then his whole notion of being able to defeat Trump in key states vanishes.

And so does any rationale that he's the better choice for beating Trump.

Interesting analysis from her home state insiders....

"After ending presidential bid, who will Elizabeth Warren endorse?"

"She's got three bad choices," political consultant Tony Cignoli said in an interview Wednesday. "She goes with Bernie, and immediately the establishment, colleagues in the Senate and House, are looking at her and saying, you're kidding?' It ostracizes her a lot. Or she goes with Joe, and you'll hear a cry from the liberal, progressive left, especially in Massachusetts. The Bernie people will be unforgiving."

The third choice, Cignoli added, might be the worst: "Do nothing, piss off both sides. Holy smokes, you wanted to get into this arena, but this is a really tough spot for her."

Scott Ferson, a Democratic strategist based in Boston, argued "doing nothing might be best" for Warren over the long term."

much more including how "Uncle Joe, overnight, turned into Joe Cool," he said."

She has something of great value and she's not going to give anything away without extracting a big price. Nor is she going to throw it down the drain on one of the remaining candidate that can't deliver the goods.

Something tells me she's going to do a little consulting with Barack Obama, too. It would not do to make a bad decision at this stage in the primary when momentum and unity is crucial.
