Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News

Within hours of having two cardiac stents installed after his heart attack, the senator was back on the phone, dictating, and asking for details of an advertising buy, aides said. That intensity can sometimes cross the line. He has a history of angry outbursts, especially when he believes people are not working hard enough or are exposing him to political risk.

As a boss, Mr. Sanders is notoriously tough. Former aides have described him as demanding and particular, sometimes to a fault. In many ways, he is the quintessential Brooklyn diner patron: The service is never quite fast enough, and what they deliver is never quite what he ordered.

Mr. Sanders "never makes you feel like you're good enough to be in the room with him," one former aide said.

Sorry, the movement can't worry about hurt feelings as we try, against all odds, to move into a new but real future where children don't starve and caring isn't a weakness.
None of us are good enough, that's why we continue to try to improve every day.

That rings a bell. I had a boss like that once. His problem was, he made so many mistakes himself there was no room for anybody else's.

What a schmuck he was. Bernie sounds like one and the same. Always angry, always miserable, always screaming at somebody, always pounding on the pulpit.

GEESH!

Clown, Bruce has consistently been opposed to Trump since before he was elected. Just because he doesn't like Bernie doesn't make him a Trump supporter.

That's a very unfair stone to hurl in light of his posting history for years.

Many Democrats don't like Bernie. What happened in 2016 soured me on him as it did a host of Democrats around the country who've ALWAYS been Democrats, fought for Democrats, volunteered for Democrats, donated to Democrats, supported Democratic policies our entire lives, and don't appreciate his bashing Democrats when he chooses not to be one himself.

Please stop it.

I lived in L.A. for many years. I understand your liberal passion. But it's easy to lose sight of the fact L.A. and California (Bakersfield excepted) are not representative of the entire country's politics. Outside of urban centers, most Democrats in America are more moderate.

That's why I feel Biden has the best chance at defeating Trump. Which is my #1 priority THIS election.

While Biden does appear to have more support outside the cities.. the more they bash Bernie and his ideas the more disenfranchised the far left is going to get.
If you want to win you will need every vote you can get.. dont waste them spiking the ball so to speak.

Many Democrats don't like Bernie.

Many Democrats don't like Biden.

In my opinion, Hillary had a better chance of beating Trump in 2016 than Biden does now.

If Democrats don't like Bernie, they shouldn't have let him primary with them. You can't let the guy primary with you then start crying that he's not a Democrat anymore because he's winning.

By the way, what happened in 2016? Hillary lost? You blame that on Bernie? Is that what it is?

Bernie supporters who voted 3rd party or sat out didn't do it because they were bashed.

They did it because they are such purists they couldn't see the forest through the trees and were willing to let Trump get elected as an "I'll show you!!" and burn everything down, somehow thinking that by doing so America would rise up in a revolution against what came next that never materialized (and didn't last Tuesday either).

As a result, we've had four years of Trump and lost years of stability, respect around the world, a gutting of our institutions, 2 more right wing SC justices, 25% of federal benches filled by Trump & Co with right wing idiots, and will have to get back just to the starting line now before America can make any progress.

Hell, Trump & Co are trying to get the SC to throw out the ACA, the biggest progressive law enacted in 50 years. More right wing SC justices and another 25% of federal benches filled with right wingers by Trump and any liberal/progressive policy enacted into legislation may very well be thrown out in the courts they're reshaping for a generation. Think about that.

Why did I say something negative about Bernie tonight? Because he's back to bashing Democrats while using our infrastructure to run for president. See what's wrong with that picture? If he'd run as the independent he is as an "I" I wouldn't care less. But burning the Democratic Party down when he isn't even a Democrat pisses me off.

I've been a Democrat who's voted, volunteered, marched, and donated since before Bernie was mayor of Burlington. He has nothing on me insofar as liberal cred goes.

Biden doesn't carry that baggage. He's been well liked by most Americans his entire career.

And that's your opinion.

Biden lost the first three primary states.

The DNC needed Pete and Amy to drop our in order to boost Biden's vote totals.

Without that, Bernie would be in the lead and Biden would be out of the race.

You guys are celebrating way too early.

Trump and the Republican Party haven't even stepped into the arena yet.

It will become widely known, if anyone cares since he's only the son, that he joined the board of Burisma at the invitation of the former president of Poland long after an investigation of Burisma was put to bed and the U.S. - Dems and Republicans alike - and every one of our allies were pushing for reform in the Ukraine before Zelensky was elected.

How do you think an actual candidate like Bernie's honeymoon in Moscow, his praising Castro, and being hung with 'socialist' every 2 minutes will look in nonstop commercials? Not so well with middle American and disaffected swing Trump voters who don't know Democratic Socialist from Vladimir Lenin or Hugo Chavez, methinks.

#25 | Posted by ClownShack

I don't see her as giddy. She's a pragmatist - like many of us - whose #1 priority is defeating Trump before there's no turning America around. Who see Biden as the candidate with the best shot at doing that.

Biden had $0 and won massively on Tuesday, winning 10 of 13 primaries with $0 and no campaigning or staff. That should tell you where the majority of Democrats in America outside L.A. were Tuesday night. To this point, they see Biden as the best man to beat Trump.

You, on the other hand, are coming across as bitter and morose. 13 candidates started in the primaries. All kinds of people supported someone that didn't make it. Been that way every election. We get over it and back the eventual nominee. If it's Sanders, I'll work my ass off to get him elected and defeat Trump.

Wish I could say I'm feeling the same about Bernie supporters online if the shoe's on the other foot. Who sound like they're going to grumble and take their balls and stomp home if Bernie isn't the nominee. Worked out so well the last time, didn't it? /snark off

Who could seriously be willing to see Trump get another 4 years and destroy any chance at anything they care about ever coming to fruition because their candidate didn't get the nomination, so they didn't vote or made a 3rd party protest vote? Those who have and will are nothing but hypocrites to anything they say they stand for.

Bernie has never been properly vetted as as a national candidate, even in 2016 because the media didn't take his candidacy seriously. There will be negative stories about how he treats his staff, or how he buys his suits off the rack at Sears, or whatever. If you consider that an attack on Bernie, you must be a snowflake Bernie Bro. The media is looking for these types of stories to shine a light on not just his political career but his management style, his electoral career, and even if there's news regarding his marriage and family members. Every serious Presidential candidate gets them, get over it.

My wife, who is an immigrant and has been a US citizen for a couple of years can't stand Bernie because of his presentation, she says he's always yelling and calls him "angry grandpa." Guess who she's not voting for in the coming WA primary. I think she's probably not unique in that opinion.

Get serious. The MSM had written Biden's campaign off as DOA before Super Tuesday. The DNC didn't give him any money, run ads on his behalf, or put their thumbs on the scale. And he didn't HAVE any money or campaign staff in states for ST races. $0.

Sanders raised and spent three times the money Biden did before ST ...and lost. Voters spoke, not the DNC.

But if you want to continue a false narrative of 'the establishment, yada yada yada,' go right ahead.

If the the Democrats nominate someone reasonable, I can see some Trump voters staying home. Few people voted for Trump, most were voting against Hillary. If Bernie is the candidate, Trump wins. Democrats put out a moderate, adult candidate with limited baggage they win. Should be simple.

Biden sort of, kind of fits that mold. The problem is his mental acuity. I have some concerns that as he's under the spotlight more that his brain farts (not knowing what state he's in, etc) are a pattern and not isolated incidents.

None of the three candidates left excite me that much. They're all old guys, for one. Trump is a dangerous psychopath who is working hard to end democracy, so there's no way I'm voting for him. Biden says some very strange things sometimes, and honestly he seems to be sundowning. Bernie is always yelling, I think some of his ideas are unrealistic, and he doesn't seem to have much desire to bring people together.

Best of the three, to me, is Biden. But if Bernie wins the nomination, I'll sure as hell support him over the psychopath. Trump needs to go.

How's that for an endorsement?
