Let's hope this curve flattens soon.

It hasn't taken off yet. My guess it will get into the thousands before it flattens our and improves.

This is why I'm staying home despite various money making opportunities for someone like me (not old, no co-morbidities) at negligible risk of death from this:

Everyone who goes out creates a tiny but incrementally cumulative risk of contagion for everyone else out there.

Stupid or malicious - I'm curious, which are you?

Here is an article comparing like with like - the progress of covid-19 and H1N1 over similar periods:

www.wwltv.com

The early trajectories for both illnesses are similar, but here's the kicker ( from the article )

"the death rate for COVID-19 has far outpaced H1N1 over the same span. The CDC had confirmed 75 COVID-19 deaths through Monday. By contrast, 16 days after the first swine flu death, there were only three H1N1 deaths reported to the CDC."

25 times more deaths than H1N1 in the same period.

On average 33 people fall down the stairs and die each day. Where's the justice.

Ban stairs before they get a chance to take another innocent life.
