I do note a strange silence here.

Probably a problem defending that which cannot be defended, i.e. Pres Trump?

I was just thinking of my dads music I used to listen to on the 8-track and LP's

He was a big fan of Peter, Paul and Mary - I love these guys

Dad landed in San Francisco when he got out of Viet Nam. He lived there for some time before coming home to Louisiana and brought home all his music.

@#12

That Blasters' tune is special. It is obscure, yet whenever I play it for visiting friends, I usually get a positive opinion.

Makes me wonder why it is one of thse obscure tunes.

"How do you talk to an angel?"

Wow, I wish I were talented enough to work that into a poem....

fwiw.. the Blasters' Colored Lights was a part of the rockabilly resurgence (revival?) of the 1980's.

Others who participated in this area are the Stray Cats and Squirrel Nuts= Zippers.

Lemme see if I can dig up something here...

THat was one of my favorites in Jr. High.

Music is such a memory jogger. I remember my best buddy turning me on to that in the 8th grade.. Then it was Duran Duran.
