Good idea. Shame Pompeo and Trump are total -------- with no concern for people's lives. War crimes suit them at any time. They should choke on their own vomit. The world would be a better place with both of them gone. Even the mullahs are less repugnant to human values.

I'll break character to agree with the premise of the article on humanitarian grounds.

I have to chuckle at the whole prospect.

Trump won't even do anything to help the suffering in America. He loves the sense of power it gives him over human life.

And he loves the begging, too. It's an excuse to inflict even more pain.

Hollywood will make a horror movie out of him some day.

We should lift them to save lives. In a year we can add them back. They will remember we stepped in to help. We can't let them die.

Trump and Pompeo want them to die. They are war criminals. America is a horror show of imperial hubris and senseless violence. If I was a believer, I might almost think we deserve the virus as punishment for our collective sins against humanity. In any case the virus is showing us to be feckless and cruel as a people.

We can't let them die.

Yeah, we can.

We shouldn't, but we probably will.

Remember Iraq? Of course we will let them die.

Lesley Stahl on U.S. sanctions against Iraq: We have heard that a half million children have died. I mean, that's more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?

Secretary of State Madeleine Albright: I think this is a very hard choice, but the price"we think the price is worth it.

Trump wants to attack them. Anything to divert from the US economy.
