Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Tuesday, March 24, 2020

A Republican running for the U.S. Senate in New Hampshire has repeatedly claimed China likely created the novel coronavirus in a laboratory a theory widely rejected by scientists and also pushed by pro-Kremlin voices seeking to sow discord. Donald Bolduc, a retired U.S. Army brigadier general and the former commander of American Special Operations Forces in Africa, is running to unseat Democratic incumbent Sen. Jeanne Shaheen in November. Like Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.), who endorsed him in January, Bolduc has been telling reporters that he believes the virus was potentially engineered in a Chinese lab as a biological warfare experiment. "It's China's fault," Bolduc said Tuesday during an interview with "Gun Shop Guys," a local New Hampshire podcast. "They started this shit and they weren't transparent about it. And they probably created it in a lab. And now we're stuck with it. And the whole world is stuck with it."

If all else fails, no habeas corpus. What a thrill, to make the opposition simply disappear.

"Are Republicans running on conspiracy theories this Fall?"

Will it troll the libs?
Then yes. They are.

It's not like they can point to any actual accomplishments... well other than Not Merrick Garland, and Blackout Bart.

The lab toying with bat coronavirus was 280 feet from the meat market. It was their Plum Island, only this time it was the world that payed. Of course they thought they could cover it up, because everybody thinks that the stupid is always possible....

"280 feet"

Impossible.
China uses the metric system.

A genomic study showed the coronavirus is not man-made.

www.livescience.com

"A group of researchers compared the genome of this novel coronavirus with the seven other coronaviruses known to infect humans: SARS, MERS and SARS-CoV-2, which can cause severe disease; along with HKU1, NL63, OC43 and 229E, which typically cause just mild symptoms, the researchers wrote March 17 in the journal Nature Medicine. 'Our analyses clearly show that SARS-CoV-2 is not a laboratory construct or a purposefully manipulated virus,'" they write in the journal article.

Lies like that need reaction from RCADE. F Heliumrat and his evil conspiracy theories. The world is dealing with a threat unknown before and that a*****e wants to make it worse. If I had to guess, deep down Helium is an Anarchist. Anyone who believes anarchy will solve your problems is out of their mind. I would not miss that POS if he were banned, there are others here I'm not fond of but they aren't anarchists, Helium is.

BTW, the conspiracy theories espoused by s**t like Helium are entirely predictable. We knew what you would be posting at least two weeks ago fool, you aren't even original. More like a joke.

Well, they sure as shootin' won't be running on the economy.
Or Trump's leadership skills.
So it'll be Faux Noos conspiracy theories.
There's just nothing else after bungling Coronavirus.

They always run on conspiracy theories.

Stock up on tin foil now. There is no doubt that the gullible mouth breathing conservative base will be hoarding it by the time of the election. Probably piling it up next to their 50 costco packs of TP.

Toilet paper, bread, jam, and canned coffee drinks.

Very little ice cream. I think they don't expect to have electricity to keep it refrigerated.

They've run on the theory that Trumplethinskin is the kind of leader that will produce great results even though he has yet to do so with any of his past endeavors.

Here's another conspiracy that can be proven by a ton of circumstantial evidence in the last 20 years...prior to the crisis, if Dems were in an economy like ours, the Dems would be sitting on horses higher than the sky about how great they are doing and how much they accomplished. EVERY POTUS in our history has a list of good and bad accomplishments. The people who only focus on one half of the list (pretty much every partisan hater) are the ones ruining things.

"if Dems were in an economy like ours, the Dems would be sitting on horses higher than the sky about how great they are doing and how much they accomplished."

Now, for your morning dose of stupidity. The economy we had was the Obama economy, Trump inherited the restored economy that Obama rebuilt after the last Republican President wrecked it. Pretending otherwise is jus ignoring reality but then, HUMTAKE, does that regularly, daily even.

Most laughable poster on this site.

Why not?

They've been doing that since 1952.

They traced back to the first known case and it had nothing to do with the market. I'm not into conspiracy theories but I also tend to doubt the Chinese given their track record. I don't know how much faith I put in this first known case in general (since so many people don't show a significant symptoms) not alone that the Chinese are being honest.

It has nothing to do with "fearing" Chy-Nuh. Just sowing discord because they know the righty bobbleheads will agree no matter how ludicrous the assertion.

What else other than conspiracy theories have Rs got to run on? Trickle down economics was a conspiracy theory. And their base will eat it up.
