An Australian astrophysicist has been hospitalized after four magnets became stuck in his nose while he was trying to invent a device to stop people from touching their faces during the coronavirus pandemic. Daniel Reardon was building a necklace that would sound an alarm when someone touched their face. "[T]hings went downhill pretty quickly when I clipped the magnets to my other nostril," he said.
