Folks are thinking up creative ways to stay in touch and support each other amid the coronavirus pandemic as families bunker down at home. Now, LeVar Burton, the star of the kids hit "Reading Rainbow" wants to livestream reading books.

He's hoping children can take a look in a book and ease from coronavirus blues. Burton posted the idea on Twitter and even got permission from an author, Neil Gaiman.

Neil Gaiman?! Yeah, if you never want your kids to ever sleep again.

Can you imagine? That's like letting letting Stephen King read your kids a bed-time story.

Steven King: "Let me read you a bed-time story kids...."
Steven King: "Relax, it's about clowns."

(I saw King on Carson once - he really does look and act exactly like you would expect him to....)

Wow, what an interesting choice. Is Kurt Vonnegut still alive for a slaughterhouse 5 reading?
