On a recent trip to the grocery store, Molly Lixey, a former emergency room nurse in Saginaw, Michigan, told CNN she noticed a lot of people wearing gloves, which she thought was great.

But what wasn't so great? All the cross-contamination she saw.

In an off-the-cuff Facebook video, Lixey decided to demonstrate just how quick and easy it is to spread germs at a grocery store.

I've seen people with full face masks put a "fume" filter on one side and a "particulate" filter on the other and think they are invincible.

The ones for chlorine in pulp mills also work good for changing ------ babies diapers.

Presuming we are all needing to make a mask I would like to know which tutorial people choose.

The Fabric Patch fitted mask. Got the sewing machine out, waited hours in line at joanns yesterday and will have to experiment with the water-resistant nonwoven layer. I'm going to try some garden barrier.
