Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Tuesday, April 07, 2020

The GazetteXtra, a newspaper in Janesville, Wisconsin, writes about citizens braving a pandemic to cast their vote: "Neighbors Margaret Udey and Glenda Hemmerling wore their masks and came to vote at the former Sears store in the Janesville Mall on Tuesday morning. The two elderly women -- Udey walking with a cane -- had requested absentee ballots, but those hadn't arrived, so they decided to vote in person.

"He who casts the vote decides nothing; he who counts the vote decides everything" -- Stalin

"Let's make it harder to cast the vote too, just to be on the safe side." -- GOP

The Republican leader of the Wisconsin legislature posted a short video clip of himself going to vote today saying that he felt safe and that the Democrats were making too much of the risks of in-person voting during a pandemic. But look at how he was dressed:

Did he honestly think that every resident of Wisconsin was going to go to the polls dressed like he was? Or even had access to the protective gear that apparently he had access to?

#3 Of course he didn't. If you haven't heard of him, Robin Vos is one of the most shameless Republicans in America.

Election fraud perpetrated by (R)tard politicians and the (R)tards on the Supreme Court.
Lock them all up!

I'll wager that Daniel Kelly will not be elected to the Wisconsin Supreme Court, having been endorsed by Trump. Worse, perhaps, then inviting the Red Death to your political party...

#12 I disagree. Wisconsin is largely 50/50 and with COVID depressing turnout in densely populated areas, Kelly is a virtual lock.

They'll get the Trump line soon enough.

Disgusting. Power over safety, party over country. Every day the GOP finds another way to game the system and deny people the right to vote, then they throw up their hands and act offended when you call them on it.

#14 Why?

I want you all to continue to live in your echo chamber.

Continue thinking you are the smart ones.

Trump will be re-elected in November.

Your surprise and anguish will be exquisite.

Just as Trump built the economy once, he can do it again.

Yes! The Plan is werking comrade!

And it will be so much easier once we purge out the old and the sick and and the weak.

Our race will be so much stronger! More pure.

Yeah.

It's just too bad about all those dead people huh?

Too bad. So sad. Nothing could be done.
