Like many at the White House, Ivanka Trump has shifted her focus to the coronavirus response prioritizing its small business efforts. Trump has long included small business and entrepreneurship as part of her West Wing portfolio, along with workforce development and women's economic empowerment, but this renewed effort comes at a time when millions of Americans who own and work at small businesses are facing dire financial situations due to a near-shutdown of the economy.

@#1 ... Funny that CNN would be praising Mrs. Kushner... ...

Praising?

I read the entire article, I saw that the article was just listing what she has done by mostly quoting her and a White House spokesperson.

It is a neutral article, as it should be.

Neutral article. Sadly, such a thing is a rarity these days.

They are out there, a lot of them.

One just needs to stop confusing "articles that are neutral" with "articles that say what I want to hear."

Any article by CNN nowadays about a Trump that doesn't excoriate them unfortunately qualifies as faint praise.

As newsrooms face coronavirus-related cuts, 54% of Americans rate media's response to the outbreak positively
www.journalism.org

...Many U.S. news organizations are covering the coronavirus pandemic while themselves facing financial pressure from it. A growing number have announced layoffs, furloughs and other cost-cutting measures as the virus inflicts widespread pain on the economy, and these cuts come on top of years of earlier reductions in newsroom staffing, especially at newspapers.

Amid the financial challenges facing newsrooms, 54% of U.S. adults say the news media have done an excellent or good job responding to the coronavirus outbreak, according to a survey conducted March 19-24 as part of Pew Research Center's Election News Pathways project. A slightly smaller share (46%) says the media's response has been only fair or poor.

Americans rate the news media's response to the virus more positively than that of President Donald Trump, but more negatively than the responses of other key actors, including public health officials, state and local elected officials and ordinary people in their communities....

Now that the president's kid and the president's kid's husband have everything under control, can we get back to the important business of investigating how Hunter Biden got a job he didn't deserve?

I'm curious, will she be briefing Daddy while sitting on his lap? This is incredibly ridiculous! And how many jobs for which he was unqualified did Hunter BIden get in the US government during the Onama Administration? Hint, the answer is ZERO.

This is great! High Finance Barbie will get to show off her new Spring collection, straight from IvankaCo's factory in Wuhan. Matching pumps and briefcase anyone?

Oh, I get it. While this horrid woman sits in front of all that 'free' bail out money she can freely divert it towards one of her so-called small businesses seeing how daddy Orange Slime Ball has gotten rid of any oversight to where the money lands and she can look Presidential all the time she is stealing our money into her bank somewhere off the Coast of the Bermuda Triangle of Banking. Two birds with on stone. A chip off the old blob.

The Republican outcry at Chelsea Clinton being nominated by Hillary Clinton, to do anything, would deafen the nation.

Jeff's blood pressure would be so high, he would have had a stroke.

Her own business was robbing haute couture designs, having them cheaply made in China, then selling them for high dollar.

Why folks aren't screaming bloody murder about this is frightening.

A federal disaster loan program offering up to $2 million in relief is now capping out at $15,000 " and is leaving some borrowers wondering if they'll even get that.

The Economic Injury Disaster Loan program, an offshoot of the Small Business Administration's emergency funds system, has faced an unprecedented number of requests amid the COVID-19 pandemic, and is having trouble keeping up and following through with promised loan amounts, The New York Times reports.
