Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Monday, April 27, 2020

Fox News has cut ties with MAGA vlogging superstars Diamond & Silk, who had contributed original content to the network's streaming service Fox Nation since shortly after its late 2018 launch. The sudden split comes after the Trump-boosting siblings have come under fire for promoting conspiracy theories and disinformation about the coronavirus.

Diamond & Silk have used their heavy social-media presence to be at the forefront of right-wing misinformation about the COVID-19 outbreak. ... During [one] broadcast, they also openly wondered whether 5G technology was being used to infect people with coronavirus in an effort to fill "empty" hospitals, suggesting that the "deep state snakes" were building towers in certain areas to "turn things on and off to make sure that certain things go down so those hospital beds can be filled?"

First Matt Drudge, now Fox News.

As I noted previously, just how far from the herd does the Trump administration have to stray to trigger these events?

Sad thing is people like Drudge and Fox created this mess.

Now that they're recoiling because they're getting burned I have ZERO sympathy. I hope they go down in flames with him.

The civil liability lawyers are sharpening their knives for Fox News.

Dollars to donuts they are propagating Russian or Chinese disinformation.

Fox News should be considered patriotic for dumping them.

Fox news should be placed in the bucket as the NRA, a threat to the USA.

@#3 ... Sad thing is people like Drudge and Fox created this mess. ...

Created? I'm not at that point yet.

Saw an opportunity to rake in cash from people who would buy into their crazy views? Yeah. I'm there.

It is the dark side of Capitalism. Saying things that make money, regardless of the veracity (or sanity?) of what is said.

Eff these clowns. They're embarrassing. But then so is Fox News, more responsible than any other single entity for the breakdown of American conservatism into the angry, paranoid, wildly misinformed movement it is today.

Fox is starting to realize it might have gone too far and created a monster. So it's parting ways with these crackpots now because it sees lawsuits, lost ad revenue and piles of dead viewers in its future.

Waaaaay to late for that.

FCC needs to shutter Fox for the crime of knowingly spreading dangerous medical misinformation during a F@@@@ pandemic.

If they loved America, Fox News would drop Donald Trump for promoting conspiracy theories and disinformation about the coronavirus.

But the only thing they love is money.

I'm only pointing out, why keep scapegoating Russia (same ol', same ol') when FOX has become so much better at the same job.

Gone, having stretched their 15 minutes into two hours and 25 minutes.

Faux Spews is worried about the coming class action lawsuit. Hopefully we see the Murdochs right next to the Drumpfs in the poor house after all this is over.

Oh, it is a freaking hilarious day when Dems are using conspiracy theorists as a way to throw hate. Hey pot, it's the kettle, you're black. Oh, sorry, didn't mean to use the name of a color. I hope that doesn't cause the known racist Dems on this board from making racist jokes or comments. If it does, I apologize ahead of time.
