Sixty-thousand American COVID deaths today.

And so we pass the first marker whereby Donald Trump told us he was doing a good job.

But Donald already has the backup goalpost waiting, 100,000 dead.

So no biggie.

States Rights is such a double edged sword!

The headline is misleading. States don't have any authority to implement immigration policies. Arizona learned this the hard way.

Typical cheap negotiating tactic by a guy who thinks he has more power than he actually does. Dems should reply by saying that without more support, Trump is causing his dwindling base of voters to either go hungry or die...

Trump is unscrupulous. His first thought from the beginning has been to use this crisis to HIS advantage.

There's a whole laundry list of things Trump has done to satisfy his vindictive nature.

Once unfettered, can you imagine what he'd be like as a vindictive dictator?

No, Trump's hedging a much higher number. Over the weekend he started to mention that the number people should be looking at is the number of dead if he had done nothing, which is 2.2 million. Basically he's implying that as long as the final number (or at least by election day) is under 2 million, then he's a 'winner'.

Well the blue states could just stop the transfer of wealth to the red states and see how that works out.

"Well the blue states could just stop the transfer of wealth to the red states and see how that works out."

I don't think that's possible. The "red States" have a powerful, unscrupulous lobbyist in D.C. (named Donald something-or-other) who is consumed and hell bent on vindictive pursuits of his blue state "enemies." (and sometimes even his red state enemies).

Plotting and scheming occupies the majority of his thinking time.
