Republicans need to proceed with extreme caution else risk a financial meltdown unlike any other we've seen before.

Economic meltdowns are their forte.

This would be catastrophically stupid. I'm sure the Trump admin will do it for just that reason.

Republicans crash the economy because it's the easiest and most expeditious way to give money to the rich. They also give the victims of the crashed economy a trickle.

By definition, the rich need money. Taxpayer money will do just fine.

Want a downgrade in credit rating, just write down 5% of your debt then you can watch interest rates skyrocket, probably to the point where you end up paying more in interest than you did with the 5% still on the books.

I sure hope China doesn't retaliate by releasing the actual killer virus they've been working on, since this one is no worse than the flu!

One must assume this is another one of Stephen Miller's bright ideas?

US should make china if shut down their wet markets if they want to trade with us.

And china should do the same to our disgusting factory farms, which also create health threats to the world.

There's a reason europe restricts food from the US - they value their health more than corporate profits. We don't.

This will work out as well as Trump's trade war and tariff regime on Chinese goods imported here. Meanwhile, in NK Li'l Kim is about to be discovered dead in a ditch, with the Chinese Red Army in possession of all the NK nukes, which are all squarely pointed in our direction.

Hmmm. Can Jared and Ivanka talk the Chinese out of this position? Tune in tomorrow, just after the Trump Sarcasm Hour and Pandemic Chat Fest...

That really is what it comes down to.

Anything to deflect blame away from the flaming turd-heap that is the Trump Administration allowing close to a hundred thousand Americans to die while being propped up by GOP enablers.

Best case scenario.
