The White House has blocked key Trump administration health official Dr. Anthony Fauci from testifying at a House hearing on the U.S. coronavirus response next week.

"The House Appropriations Committee's subcommittee on the Departments of Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Agencies wanted Fauci, who has emerged as one of the most trusted voices on the virus, to appear at a Wednesday morning hearing on how the government has handled the pandemic. The panel was "informed by an administration official that the White House has blocked Dr. Fauci from testifying," committee spokesman Evan Hollander said in a statement.

White House spokesman Judd Deere also confirmed the White House stopped the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases from appearing before the House. He said that while the administration tries to combat the pandemic that has now killed more than 60,000 Americans, "it is counter-productive to have the very individuals involved in those efforts appearing at congressional hearings."

Yes, having the people who know most about how the gov handled the pandemic testify about how the gov handled the pandemic is "counter-productive" to... the Trump Re-Election Campaign!

When Trump goes, everyone is going to be so damned glad he's gone, including those who support him.

But didn't Dotard tell us that his response was perfect and that leaders from all over the world were calling him to heap praise on him? Didn't Kushner just call the federal response a success? Shouldn't they want Fauci to tell the House panel exactly how tremendous the Drumpf Regime's response has been? Oh, right Dotard is lying, every word out of his fat mouth during this pandemic has been a lie. They're afraid Fauci will tell the truth. Totally on-brand for this regime.

Trump can't handle the truth

The White House (Humpy House) will allow testimony in the Senate but not the House?

Well, Trumpy said he would be transparent.

So Yeah. This is very transparent ...

We can see exactly what Humpy is thinking.

Obstruct, obfuscate and delay Congress in its ability to conduct oversight and to prevent Congress from finding out the truth about anything... until it is too late to do anything about it.

Same as it ever was.

Humpy has sure learned his impeachment lessons well hasn't he?

White House blocks Dr. Anthony Fauci from testifying before Congress next week, calls it "counter-productive."

The truth is counterproductive for Trump.

What legitimate reason could there be for blocking his testimony?
None, of course. Trump can't stand it when there's the slightest bit of doubt about his self-styled omniscience.

Counter-productive? But Trumpy has Fauci wasting hours per day watching Trump's re-election campaign be run under the guise of pandemic meeting.
