President Trump confirmed Wednesday that his administration was not backing down from the aggressive anti-Obamacare stance it's taking in a blockbuster case in front of the Supreme Court. "Obamacare is a disaster, but we've made it barely acceptable," Trump said, according to a pool report of comments made in the Oval Office. "We want to terminate health care under Obamacare."

"We want to terminate health care under Obamacare."

30 million plus unemployed, the economy in shambles with a viral pandemic running rampant throughout America and Trump wants to take away affordable health insurance and preexisting coverage from tens of millions more.

This case is scheduled to be heard in October, right before the election. The above quote will be repeated by Biden and Democrats ad nauseum until then. Along with every other horrific decision Trump will be forced to own, I see the quote as his probable political epitaph and his own goal tombstone. It seems Trump failed to learn the lessons of 2018.

It's a Hail Mary!

Trump hasn't achieved any of his objectives in his first term. He's desperate for a coup.

October? Could the timing be any more obvious?

I trust the Supreme Court will recognize this for exactly what it is and land a crushing blow to this lame duck idiot.

I expect Kavanagh to do anything and everything he can to protect Trump.

It will be better healthcare, much better for less money. Not a bad combination.

He's still working on the replacement, Lamplighter. He works on it a lot, along with other really smart people with very high IQs. He comes in early and goes home late, not that you would appreciate it. It's going to be tremendous, that I can tell you. Because nobody knows more about tremendousness than Trump.

After they kill off all the (black/brown/yellow) essential workers, who's going to mop their floors and clean their toilets? Who's going to empty their bed pans and push their wheel chairs? Who's going to cook their food?

Dotard missed his calling, rather than a failed "builder" of ugly buildings, he could be an actual billionaire if he'd gone into demolition.

"We want to terminate health care under Obamacare."

And at the perfect time.

Why is it so hard to just accept Trump is trying to destroy America?

I was so wrong on Trump. The guy is a miserable cretin. I worry about my gun rights but not to the point I want people to get sick and die because they can't afford to see a doctor.

As it stands, the only ACA replacement plan we've heard from the Republicans has been Trump's advice on cleansers and high-intensity lights.

So BYRDMAN ~~ you lived in fear throughout both the Obama and Clinton administrations?

Don't you know that old Republican schtick ~ "they gonna take all your guns away from you" has been used as vote-bait for years. No Democrat wants your guns.

Trump doesn't want your guns either. But he'll take your life without a second thought.

Glad to see you've finally seen the light.

Trump did dabble in building demolition to build Trump tower and destroyed art work that he promised to save. Until it became inconvenient.
secretsofmanhattan.wordpress.com

And the promise to preserve the grillwork and reliefs? "On his orders, the demolition workers cut up the grillwork with acetylene torches," Crews "jackhammered the friezes, dislodged them with crowbars, and pushed the remains inside the building, where they fell to the floor and shattered in a million pieces."

The Trump Organization disputed these claims through a spokesperson named John Baron.

Don't be so dramatic. He is just trying to destroy it for the 99% of America that doesn't give him money.

Trump wants to terminate healthcare during a pandemic.

Do people need to know anything else about this cretin?

November can't get here soon enough. Over 100,000 of us won't make it.

Obamacare:
1. Millions more people covered.
2. Plans protect pre-existing conditions.
3. Insurers' profit margin limited by law.
4. Insurers can't drop insured when they get sick.
5. Premium increases yearly were cut in half from the previous decade.

I'm sorry. But what part of Obamacare hasn't worked?

Seriously, Conservatives, what part of it hasn't worked?

#21 | Posted by Sycophant at 2020-05-08 11:39 AM | Reply

I can't claim this to be a fact but I do suspect that the ACA would have been fine if Republicans hadn't branded it Obamacare. Trump hates Obama and wants to destroy every part of legacy left by him. Nothing about his opposition to ACA is based on facts or reason, he just hates it because they call it "Obamacare." I truly wish President Obama would repeat his insults about Trumps color not being a color that exists in nature. Biden needs to refer to Trump as "Orange Adolph" or whatever insult based on orange he wants. Ridicule might be the best method of destroying Orange Adolph.

That is a fact.

Polls show Conservatives want to get rid of the Obamacare but not the Affordable Care Act.
