Common conservative trick: Appoint someone who wants to gut the agency he/she will lead.

Trump goes the extra mile with:

Kill off the Affordable Care Act. Offer no alternative.

Tell states they're on their own regarding the pandemic. Interfere with PPE shipments to the states. Blame the states.

Encourage militias to rise up against Democrat-governed states for not returning to work fast enough. Stoke anger and chaos.

Move to protect companies that force employees to return to work despite ongoing pandemic.

Take all other measures that reduce the health and clout of the opposition.

Resume "hoax" narrative.

Claim "victory."

Guess we can disregard any chance at an accurate vote by mail in November.

If we found out in December that this administration directed the USPS to slow roll (or just not deliver) mail-in ballots from areas that tend not to be Republican, would anyone even be surprised?

Next he will appoint a dog catcher to lead the pandemic task force or something weird.

What's that you say? He appointed a dog breeder to lead the pandemic task force? Well, dogs get viruses too! So I am sure he has lots of experience with dogs. So at least our dogs will be protected.

Welcome to Trumplandia.
