"This is not good."

If it makes America get serious, it could save tens of thousands of lives.

Yesterday's post:

So it's possible that this person has been shedding the virus for up to 2 weeks now to whomever he comes in contact with in the White House (Executive Office building). Think of all the breaths this person has expelled and all the surfaces he's touched as he traversed through the White House (EOB) over the last two weeks.

Trump and Pence have reportedly been tested again and are negative, but since no one knows the moment when asymptomatic patients finally test positive, wouldn't it now make sense for everyone there to assume the virus is indeed inside the building and for all personnel to take immediate precautions?

And this is the White House with instant testing, yet the virus got inside. What possible hope does a plant worker have in keeping themselves protected from the virus when companies refuse to test all the workers even once?

Fits today's news as well.

They're testing everybody who comes into contact with Hair Furor, and he and VP Mayonnaise are getting tested regularly. Also, word is that pretty much everybody in the WH is wearing a mask. So they recognize that a robust testing regimen and mitigation are useful to keep BLOTUS safe, but for the rest of us? Go to your meat processing job packed together like sardines with no PPE, go work in an ED without necessary PPE, FEND FOR YOURSELVES! Apparently, nobody but the Regime matters. Screw them! Hopefully this sweeps through the WH like wildfire! I hope they ALL GET IT! They deserve it!

Can't say I disagree. Let's see what kind of warriors they all are!

No need to worry. Pence prayed to God.

I hear the staff member is feeling better already.

I mean. He better keep saying he does if he wants to keep his job.

Excellent point, Danforth.
If the VP's office isn't safe, can any office be safe?
Maybe that will help some people understand.

This isn't a big deal, same with Trump's valet.

At least it shouldn't be if their public behavior and demeanor is an indicator.

What are they worried about? If this virus is such a non-issue that the peons should get back to work then their peons having it shouldn't matter one bit.

I think it helped in the UK. Boris Johnson certainly made an about-face. Maybe this will get Trump to wear a mask.

"The virus is in the White House."

How apt would it be, if history recorded the virus arrived at the WH in the person of Stephen Miller.

Trump on Katie Miller testing negative yesterday but testing positive today:

"This is why the whole concept of tests aren't necessarily great. The tests are perfect but something can happen between a test where it's good and then something happens."

Um, what?

Document reveals Secret Service has 11 current virus cases, as concerns about Trump's staff grow

According to the DHS document, along with the 11 active cases there are 23 members of the Secret Service who have recovered from COVID-19 and an additional 60 employees who are self-quarantining. No details have been provided about which members of the Secret Service are infected or if any have recently been on detail with the president or vice president.

I was just thinking that I hope there are intrepid WH reporters who are keeping track of unusual staff changes because I have zero faith in the White House being honest with us about the Covid cases they find.

I was even thinking that for maximum safety, every single person that has regular access to the WH should have to be tested every single day whether or not they're working that day. Trump said something quite profound in his dribbling today. Fisher tested negative just yesterday, but tested positive today. Every day that the WH doesn't test someone is a day the virus may be spreading through the movements of an asymptomatic host who hasn't triggered a positive test yet.

I'm also curious as to whether the two known cases are related or whether there are at least two separate vectors of infection moving within the White House. Neither alternative is very good.

Um, what?

Donald Trump said that Katie Miller tested very good for a long period of time and then all of the sudden today she tested positive. He went on to explain why he thought this was evidence that testing isn't "necessarily great."

In so doing, Trump definitely gave away that he thinks it's suspicious that someone would test negative for a virus and then later test positive.

In Trump's mind it is better to not know you are positive for covid so you can go around unknowingly spreading it to others I guess.
