Fauci says we do not have the virus under control.

Fauci speaks the truth.

It's been nice knowing him.

"There is a real risk that you will trigger an outbreak that you may not be able to control,"

Republicans don't care. Well, maybe Ohio Governor Mike DeWine. But only as a stepping stone to the White House.

The GOP is happy to charge taxpayers in both blood and money, if it means less economic hardship for the rich.

GOP really doesn't want to control it. They gave the money to your boss, go ask your boss to see his new mercedes. Meanwhile, they're waiting until you are starving enough to be forced back to work.

...and cue the Reichwing feaver swamp calling for Dr. Fauci to be fired, dreaming up crazy conspiracy theories about him and trying to frame him for a variety of embarrasing incidents. Watch, next they'll try to frame him for the mugging and murder of Seth Rich. Republicans are scum, any and all of them who won't call out what a national embarrasment their party has become in the service of Duh Furor.

Oh, Dotard and the Gross Old Pedophiles don't care how many Americans die during this pandemic as long as they can continue to name unqualified judges to lifetime appointments and can continue to give truckloads of tax dollars to their 1% buddies and donors.

This will not end well. Dr.Fauci will be muzzled. The country will open up without restrictions. The trumphumpers will rejoice.

Out of sight, the Virii too will rejoice at the huge buffet laid out for them by the Stupidest country on Earth. Many more will die. The hospitals will be overwhelmed. The whole country will become like NY. The risk of an uncontrollable outbreak is very real.

I expect Dr. Fauci to be purged within days.
The rest will follow. The death cult will prevail.

Just go pray at your shire to Bloomberg and ask him how he likes all the billions he stole from his employees.

You hypocrite.

Rand Paul is a real piece of work.

"The history of this will be wrong prediction after wrong prediction after wrong prediction. And as much as I respect you Dr. Fauci, I don't think you're the end all."

"The silver lining to so many infections in the meat-processing industry is that a large portion of these workers now have immunity."

"Shouldn't we be at least be discussing what the mortality of children is? It's not going to be zero but it almost approaches zero. Between [the ages of] 18 and 45, the mortality was 10 out of 100,000."

Because this president is only the president of the deplorables that show loyalty to his ignorant and hateful trumpism. He is had as much as said that he is not the president of half of America. Democrats are Not actually Real Americans after all.

And since he does not represent them he doesn't care what they say or do.

Yeah...that sure was a close call!

We somehow managed to avoid all those billion dollar bullets.

#20 | Posted by donnerboy at 2020-05-12 03:20 PM | Reply

Bloomberg is a republican? I could have sworn he was running as a Democrat.

Of course, one would have to be a collosal idiot to join hands with the gop-ers right now.

Yes, I am talking to you Bernie bros.

I like Bernie, I wish enough people liked him for him to get the nomination. I wish he wasn't a jew or a democratic socialist. Both will prevent him from getting the votes he needs. He is out and he has endorsed Biden.

If you Bernies want to vote for trump, go to it, but stop crying because Bernie will never win a national election.

The GOP would move heaven and earth to stop Covid if one of its side effects was turning your skin black.

We don't know what the long term consequences of a covid infection are. Chicken pox can come back as shingles. Covid has some weird clotting effects.
Why not do what other countries have done to stop Covid and then keep it in check?

Loss of a quarter of our GDP for a couple of quarters isn't that bad. It will prepare us for the next pandemic. Or, maybe the world is better off without any Americans.

"Loss of a quarter of our GDP for a couple of quarters isn't that bad."

Rich people can afford it.
It would be different if this economy were struggling when the pandemic hit, but it's not.
We can afford it.

#23 | Posted by snoofy at 2020-05-12 03:49 PM | Reply

The pandemic has certainly presented the GOP with a conundrum. Right wingers hate science and facts. They want to be able to shout down the other side and dilute whatever is being said. But they can't shout down a pandemic. They cannot label it a 'liar' or cast innuendo about a sordid past. The pandemic just keeps rolling along and all the GOP can do is hope that the base prefers their lies to the pandemic's reality.

The 2016 election was a referendum on empathy. Empathy lost. F--- your feelings won.

The 2020 pandemic is a crucible for empathy. We'll find out what survived soon enough.

It's funny how the Bros attack me, who was against trickle down policies from the beginning. No wonder they couldn't build a coalition then, and can't help but destroy the left as it's trying to coalesce around the candidate now. Shameful stupidity, really.

#30 | POSTED BY CLOWNSHACK

How is supporting a Republican gross? Do you believe it is impossible for a Republican to be a decent person? (even if that Republican is not a Trump supporter?)

How is supporting a billionaire gross? Does being a billionaire make you evil? Do you believe that just by having a lot of money you are suddenly sub-human?

It just seems to me that saying someone is "gross" because they supported a "Republican billionaire" is a bit childish and immature.

A very emotional position bereft of actual salient points or arguments.

#35 | Posted by gtbritishskull at 2020-05-13 04:09 PM | Reply

How is supporting a billionaire gross?

Do you realize what one needs to do to become a billionaire? How much they steal in order to achieve such a goal? How much a billion actually is.

Does being a billionaire make you evil?

Simply put, yes. It shows an utter disregard for your fellow human beings. Its theft, on a massive scale. It's what's ultimately wrong with Capitalism. That a person is allowed to amass such an amount. Leaving millions upon million in poverty in its wake.

Being a billionaire is evil.

It's what's wrong with the world.

This ultimate goal to have it all, despite what you do in order to accomplish it.

Thats whats wrong with humanity. The endless pit of greed to constantly need more, the pride of being better than those around you, and hate of others being equal to you.

How is supporting a Republican gross?

Show me one who, in recent years, hasn't voted to remove environmental regulations, or corporate regulations and safeguards.

Who hasn't voted to cut welfare for the poor while also voting for tax cuts for the rich.

Who hasn't fought against better public education and healthcare.

Who hasn't tried to curb civil rights, women's rights.

Who hasn't put religion before humanity.

Show me a republican with a spine who is fighting to make America a better nation for future Americans regardless of their income.

A republican who doesn't view empathy as a weakness.

A republican who hasn't sold their soul for a quick dollar.
