Nice. Calming the people like he should.

Trump wants to blame China for the virus and Fauci for the Trump slump. Then it doesn't matter how badly he screwed the pouch, he can convince his base that none of it was his fault.

I've never seen a Trumpite say anything is Trump's fault for anything.

This is the bloody-minded, violent pride expected from someone with Trump's sort of mental illness.

He creates stories, and enforces them, for the benefit of anyone out there who truly has any capacity left to doubt him.

In any tall tale he creates, he's always the hero that recues the damsel. Dr. Fauci gets to play the part of the evil wizard who might steal his place on Time magazine.

I've posted this before. Read or go see Ibsen's "Enemy of the People." Fauci is going to be Trump's enemy of the people because he tells the truth, something not allowed in the Trump administration. When Trump said, yesterday, that most parents want to send their kids back to school it was a horrible lie, most parents want to keep their children safe. Donald Trump is a danger to all Americans and especially our children, or in my case, grandchildren. When his reelection is more important than the safety of children in our nation it is time to throw that bastard our of office once and for all.

Not here. 01/02/2021 has been floated as a possibility.

OK, I get it.

Unlike Pres Trump, the Dr Fauci has the health of Americans near or at the top of his priority list.

It is starting to appear that Pres Trump is viewing Dr Fauci's high approval rating as an impediment to Pres Trump's campaign for re-election.

Maybe if Pres Trump were to place the health of Americans at the top of his priority list, he would be able to appeal to more Americans for re-election. Instead, with Pres Trump's current tactics, all he seems to be able to appeal to are a radical fringe element of anarchists.

If Trump had been President in the 1940s, we'd all be speaking German right now.

Come on. Who you're going to believe? A doctor who has advised several Presidents and has applied research to prevent, diagnose, and treat established infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS, respiratory infections, diarrheal diseases, tuberculosis, malaria, Ebola and Zika ... OR ... the founder of Trump Steaks.

Faux News is ginning up some Fauci hate.

It won't be long now.

Fauci is trying to be too truthful. Too honest.

We obviously cannot have that.

It's causing serious damage over there on parallel Earth.

Trump will probably nominate Dr. Sean Hannity to replace Dr. Fauci.

To add, who are you going to believe, a world renowned virologist trusted by both GOP and Dem Presidents, or a "man" that one of his college professors referred to as the "dumbest goddam student I ever had."

It's scary to hear that Trump was unaware of Fauci's stance regarding schools. A reporter brought up Fauci's comments that schools should remain closed until the fall. Trump said he was surprised to hear Fauci feels that way and that the comments were unacceptable.

You mean to tell me Trump hasn't had a conversation with Fauci about reopening schools? All this talk about reopening the country and he never took the time to hear Fauci's opinion on opening schools?

JFC, the POTUS has a one track mind and is incapable of holding two thoughts at once.

Or the founder of Trump University.

Trump's statement about Fauci is very revealing. It reflects his approach as President. Trump does not feel that The Truth is acceptable when dealing with issues that affect him politically. We have seen it time and again. But this time he comes right out and says it.

Science, facts, and real news haven't been acceptable since Trump took office.

Not to mention truth, morals, and intelligence, so I won't mention those.

Trump's attitude towards this virus, which he even refers to as a war, and what the public should be doing about sending their kids back to school reminds me of a slogan which was on signs and bumper stickers back during the Vietnam war.

"War is good business, invest your sons."
