Let's hope this isn't a precursor to a more destructive earthquake. I don't think this country can handle any more of Trump's "leadership."

The Mother Earth seems to be pissed off lately. Can't say I blame her.

This is what we can expect from democrat-run states. /s

Danni,

The only reason you even know about the earthquake is because of today's technology. Back in the day, you would have never heard about it. Mother nature has been doing things like this since the dawn of time. It has nothing to do with your religion of global warming opps, climate change..

Yeah, people in the 1900s never knew about the SF earthquake.

Climate Change is SCIENCE, Boaz,
not some hokey religion, like Trump Worship...

But then again, a Trump Worshiper like yourself
wouldn't be able to tell the difference. You guys
"don't do" science...

Poor Danni... had no idea that technology has improved so much that now everyone can know about earthquakes instantly.

Thank goodness Boaz was here to tell you tho.

#5 Danni didn't say a word about climate change, numbskull.

Let me help out:

The rate of Climate Change occurring is 75-100 times faster than before mass release of man-made greenhouse gases.

The worst earthquake to hit LA in the last 30 years was a 6.7 in 1994. It killed 57 people and caused about $30 billion in damage.

Comparing it to change rate as we see in climate change, the earthquake would have been an 8.4-8.9. Most of LA would have been destroyed.

The magnetic poles are moving, too, like they have before. Climate will change when the poles change position.

Also, a volcanic eruption will make the air hotter near it.

Here's something to blow your mind, the only reason we know about climate change is because of the same science and technology advances.
In the past we would not have been able to record and verify the changes and wouldn't have the computer models to put the pieces together.

Petrous....the last time CO2 emissions were this high
there were trees growing at the South Pole. Everywhere
ice that has existed for 10,000's of years is melting.
Do the math, you Ignart...

Yes, magnetic poles move, yes volcano's make the air
hotter near it, but stop using False Equivalents to make
an argument. The old "Spoons made me fat" argument is
funny for a few moments. Longer, I would imagine,
to the immature mind.

But try these facts on for size. The last time the earth
warmed to this degree, took 10,000's of years to take place.
We have done the same (and headed for more) since the
Industrial Revolution. That's only 260 years, at it's most
generous calculation. Or, 0.026% of the time, mankind has
warmed the planet as much as the last great natural warming of
the planet. Further, the World Population stands at 7.8 billion,
as of this month, slightly higher than back at the start of the
Industrial Revolution, when the world's population was only
770,000,000...not even a billion people yet. And if you really want
to know how fast we've warmed the earth, most of that 'warming' has
taken place since 1960... That's just in the blink of a geologist's
eye...

Facts. Seemingly a difficult thing for Republotards to understand...

If I turn up the thermostat, the temp goes up too.

But when the temp goes up 50 degrees instead of 5 degrees, it's probably not the thermostat. It's more likely the house is on fire.
