Withdrawing from this treaty to punish Russia is definitely something a President who is "Putin's puppet" would do ...right liberals?

It looks like Putin disrespecting the Treaty because he knows Trump wont stand up to him.Taking his ball and running home is all Trump has diplomatically.

"Bipartisan groups of former national security officials reacted with dismay to the news the US will withdraw, saying that will reduce US leadership in the world, hand Russia a victory and undermine US and global security.

'This is insane'

"This is insane," tweeted Gen. Michael Hayden, the retired four-star general who served as former National Security Agency director, a former principal deputy director of national intelligence and was President George W. Bush's director of the CIA."

Russian non-compliance... because they know they have nothing to fear from Comrade Orange, is problematic. But, as the article clearly notes, not putting anything in place of these various treaties enhances Russian power and hurts our allies.

Unfortunately, Lil' Donnie is a tiny hands on President.

@#1 ... Withdrawing from this treaty to punish Russia is definitely something a President who is "Putin's puppet" would do ...

Not really.

Quite the contrary, it looks like Pres Trump is giving Pres Putin just what Pres Putin wants.

Again.

This is not a punishment to Russia.

It's a gift.

RUSSIA CAN STILL FLY OVER US BASES IN EUROPE

The US leaving the treaty doesn't mean Russia is leaving it with European countries. So they can still fly over our European bases and we can't fly over their country anymore.

We also have twice as many flights as they do under the treaty currently.

And the images we get from our flights is often information we can't get from satellites because they are fixed in position. They can't be flexible but our flights can.

We could put the work in to fix the treaty and force Russia to comply completely, but let's be honest: Republicans don't do work, especially the Trump Admin.

Orange Agent really wants a war so he can be a wartime President and get reelected.

I think you're right, he does want a war but I don't think even Orange Adolf is stupid enough to want it with Russia. More likely he is going to gin one up against Iran.

We don't need Russias permission to over fly them. They can't stop us.

We can stop them though.

Hegemony fans, it's based on strategic capability. Maybe take a minute and learn what those are.

We went a little over a decade and a half we went without the ability for on demand recon from incredibly difficult to intercept platforms. Dick Cheney destroyed high speed recon forever. Thankfully wisdom prevailed during the Obama administration and we at least rolled out the RQ-180. It's not fast, but it is stealthy.

Jesus Christ, you are a ------- idiot.

Seriously? We can fly over them without a treaty and not expect them to shoot at us or take it as an act of war?

Stealthy doesn't mean invisible.

The whole point of the treaty was NOT to see a fly over and misidentify it starting a ---- war.

We are literally abandoning our allies in Europe.

But that's the Republican Way: Traitors one and all.

It's what we voted for. Relax.
