It sounds like Tara Reade's Biden accusations were a product of Trump's "flood the zone with ----" campaign strategy.

LEE

Lee, yeah. It wasn't a hard call.

She should have known better than to stick her neck out in a case this high profile. Now she's really in trouble and a lot of convictions are suddenly going to come up for review.

Oh what a tangled web we weave. ~~ LOL

Trump's handiwork again? Possibly. Or maybe she just missed the limelight.

I think something did happen, but she exaggerated it a point that it's laughable. Sexual harassment to sexual assault to rape. A body language expert broke down Biden's MSNBC interview (at least I think it was MSNBC, maybe a Good Morning America) and concluded he was being very deceptive. The evidence he pointed to (body language, facial ticks, nodding when saying that he didn't do something, shaking his head when he was in agreement, etc.) was all very convincing. So I imagine that Joe knows he did something wrong, but in this case, the victim embellished the story so much that she cratered the potential of most people taking her seriously. And now she's got credibility issues coming from California court cases that she was a witness in? Couple all this with her refusal to take a lie detector test (Ford did!) and now her lawyer dropping her like a bad habit, Biden should be in the clear on this issue by next week.

Oh and BTW, the same body language expert (who was transparent in stating he did not believe in aliens or UFOs prior to analyzing Bob Lazar's interview) analyzed Bob Lazar's interview with Joe Rogan and could not find a single shred of evidence to suggest the guy was lying. I've been following Bob's story since the '80s and his story hasn't changed or wavered one bit. The body language expert was so convinced by Bob's story that he suggested he's now a believer. The story is that convincing in itself and Bob's telling of the story is so convincing because Bob truly believes the story happened so deeply even his subconscious believes it happened. Then you see evidence that someone tried to discredit him by erasing his academic records at MIT (graduates around Bob's graduating class say they remember taking classes with Bob) and evidence of his work at Los Alamos, which evidence of him working there has since been found. For me, it's more than likely that his story is true, which means this is the biggest story the human race has ever faced: Aliens have been visiting Earth for eons with technology that allows them to maintain that perfect amount of distance that produces skepticism of their actual existence even with all the anthropogenic technological advancements associated with the 21st century. Although, the latter point has finally been undermined with the Navy's Tic Tac videos. That sort of high-end camera tech is able to catch up these bastards.

I like how we went from Tara Reade to They Live in four posts.

I'm just happy he took a deep breath between subject matter.

Thank you for the body language lesson. It's something we all should practice. Not only in ourselves but in others as well. Donald Trump makes a good subject dummy.

Even if it's true, I feel like purpose for belief in UFOs is just a weaker form of why some people believe in conspiracy theories.

It's a way to blame some mysterious unknown for the world's problems, instead of acknowledged almost all of our problems are man-made.

So, hypothetically, if aliens have been visiting Earth for eons, the purpose for the belief that it's true is just a weaker form of why some people believe in conspiracy theories?

Could you expound upon that a bit for me? Because, in my mind, should proof of this hypothetical be made public, it would also prove that the scenario was a governmental conspiracy after all.

What changes if it's true, is my usual go-to for aliens.

If it's true, and that leads to some kind of societal upheaval, whose fault is that? Ours, right?

It would certainly upset the religious sect. I'd pay to hear that.

The Tara Reade story has become so unbelievable that we are discussing aliens on a thread about her.

"The Tara Reade story has become so unbelievable that we are discussing aliens on a thread about her."

She's been exposed as a fraud, her ME-TOO attorney has dropped her like a hot potato and Joe Biden is off the hook.

What else is there to say?
