In a new study, the researchers have extended their approach to span 1979 to 2017 and about 4,000 tropical cyclones. And the global analysis does now show a statistically significant trend toward stronger tropical cyclones. For example, if you compare the first half of that 39-year period to the second half, the share of storms coming in at Category 3 or higher has increased at a rate of about 8 percent per decade.

I'lL say,when I was a bit younger I used to take a 100 mile plus bicycle trip every Saturday. Weather be damned, I was tough. But one day about 110 not a breeze and no shade 40 miles from town I got sick. An atheist talked to the Lord that day.let me tell you. It's a dry heat, so is my oven.
