This is insane. Congratulations to Republicans. You are successfully devolving into primitives.

Yahoo and YouGov's May survey didn't find that everyone believed these conspiracy theories though. Just 24 percent of independents, 19% of Democrats and 12% of people who "Voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016" believed the conspiracy theory about Gates. Instead, forty-five percent of independents, 52% of Democrats and 63% of Clinton voters said they don't believe it. The rest said they were not sure.

More proof of the direct correlation between intelligence and being anything but "c-c-conservative".

six percent of respondent Republicans said it was false, and 31% said they weren't sure.

Alternative headline: 74% of Republicans Do Not Believe that Absolutely F---k--g Insane Conspiracy Nonsense is Absolutely F--k--g Insane.

Is Math that hard for you?

26% (which you meant) and 31% is 57%, not 74%

Republicans: 26% said it was false and 31% weren't sure.

At BEST: 57% of Republicans don't believe it

But really: 26% of Republicans don't believe it, and 31% are still too stupid to be sure

But the real news is that somehow 44% of Republicans believe it and 31% are too stupid to be sure

That's 75% of Republicans either believing a bat ---- crazy conspiracy or being open to it

I only want to know one thing from Republicans, really what planet are you from? Honestly, can anyone even imagine a poll like this with Democrats? We aren't perfect but, by God, we are not that stupid. Think about it, these are the people you want running your country, I wouldn't want them washing my car.

I honestly think that if I had voted Republican since 1979, I would sincerely apologize. We have had several wars, several recessions, etc. because of you. Own the results of you and your party's policies. But we already know you won't and luckily for you, you have an entire TV network to pretend Republicans aren't responsible for the messes they create. Nothing new, we're used to it but sometimes we do question how any thinking human being can still be a part of it.
Republicans are.....s**t!
Don't blame me for saying it, blame them for being it.

Just goes to prove, former Republicans embarrassed by the orange diaper dumper are fleeing the Trumpublican party, leaving behind the morons, the "poorly educated," the QAnon conspiracy nuts and the rest of #Cult45. If you still call yourself a Republican them you are the reason this country is hurtling towards autocracy.

No, that was what the GOP used to be, it would be an elevator ride up from where we find ourselves. The new Trumpublican party either believes only what emanates from Dotards hamberder hole and short fat little fingers, or they believe the deepest, darkest most fracked-up conspiracies from the dankest sewers of the internet.

Seriously though, how do you get a microchip to fit through the needle on a syringe?

#12 | Posted by Sycophant at 2020-05-27 12:22 PM | Reply

Yep, all you Libs remember this when you get told how insane you are for believing the myriad of theories that are presented from your side. I mean, both sides come up with crazy theories about everything and the people on that side believe them like they are spoken straight from some divine source. Remember your Messiah Obama? He only got called that because Libs clung to every syllable of his word as if nothing could ever be wrong. So now it's the Cons' turn. Happens every term. Nothing new.

Welcome to partisan politics kid. I hope you grow up to be an objective person after experience this hypocrisy first hand at such a young age. The country needs more objectivity, not partisan crap. Preteens your age should strive to be better than the adults of today. It really wouldn't be that hard considering the bar is so low.

Humtake,

Your attempts at equivalency fall very very flat.

Name a conspiracy theory espoused by Dems under Obama that comes close to the microchip nonsense.

I got one. Operation Jade Helm!

Wait, that was the right too...damn.

This is the most Boomer thing every posted on the DR.

Seriously though...
You find Obama's birth certificate yet?
Did Obama turn the entire country to Islam because he was a secret Muslim?
What about the child slave cult in the basement of the pizza shop that had no basement?
What about the people Hillary allegedly murdered?
Or the invasion of Texas by the Feds under Obama?
Death Panels?
Republican Concentration Camps?
Banning the Bible?
Anything?

It's official 44% of the remaining open republicans are to stupid to vote.

I love the internet but it has allowed the stupid to build their own echo chambers and spread the stupid to others like a contagion. Why do people not have the interest in looking into facts rather than swallowing BS hook, line and sinker?

Republicans are stupid. They prove it here every day. Does this surprise anybody? I'm only surprised it isn't a higher number.

Yep. I guess I had more confidence in my fellow human beings when the Internet came into popular use. I had always believed that reasonable people could disagree, and that persuasive argument would ensure good outcomes in most cases.

But I was wrong. Some are beyond hope. And now they find each other online and descend together down ever-darker holes of madness. If a few of these radical wackos happen to have money, fame or enough charisma, they drag along the dumber, more gullible people. There are far more people who are easily led than I had anticipated.
