In at least a dozen states, health departments have inflated testing numbers or deflated death tallies by changing criteria for who counts as a coronavirus victim and what counts as a coronavirus test, according to reporting from POLITICO, other news outlets and the states' own admissions.

Bound to work out well.

Everyone should be able to see the next scandals coming, to include actual bodies being hidden and buried in secret.

"Bad Data" means Red States lying about COVID-19 because they'd rather open and let people die to stick it to the Dems than do their jobs.

One incident that made me take a step back in [bad] surprise occurred at a meat-packing plant.

The company was testing employees. When more than 30% of the employees being tested showed up positive, the company decided to stop the testing. Probably because they didn't want to know how many people were actually infected.

When you get to a place of desperation such that a pandemic response is treated as a PR response, this is what you get.

Who knew that electing a completely unqualified psychopathic narcissist as president who puts his spectacularly unqualified son-in-law and daughter in charge of both dpmestic and foreign policy would not end well? I'm shocked--SHOCKED! that things are so bad now.

There are going to be damning histories of this era written and Donald Trump and the Republican Party are going to look like Terrible people responsible for the deaths of many thousands and all of it done for political advantage.

Just not enough data scientists to go around. Some states have to do without...

Why listen to officials at all? The fact checkers have all the actually figures for the virus since day one. They knew about day one a week in advance. My question is why are they not telling us? They are just as bad, not telling us except to show that the Trump administration is lying is just as bad.

We live in a ruby red state. The other day my wife was at a store wearing a mask. Some guy made a snide remark about it to which she replied, "I'm doing this to keep YOU safe. Just being courteous." She said that stopped him in his tracks. After a moment of thought he said, "courtesy ... OK, I get it."

Why should wearing a mask during a pandemic be considered a political statement when it's a health & safety issue.
