White House officials have decided not to release updated economic projections this summer, opting against publishing forecasts that would almost certainly codify an administration assessment that the coronavirus pandemic has led to a severe economic downturn, according to three people with knowledge of the decision.

Budget experts said they were not aware of any previous White House opting against providing forecasts in this "mid-session review" document in any other year since at least the 1970s.

Right now the stock market is being driven by the European Canadian Australian national economic stimuli. The orange wizard doesn't want anyone near the curtain.

lol. How the ---- does the White House possibly justify not releasing the economic projections for the coming year? lol. ---- comical. Same logic as deciding that if we don't test so many people for the Covid, then the number of people who are infected by it will drop dramatically. Or a woman who never gets a pregnancy test can't be pregnant.

Our economy is F'ed. Everyone in the White House knows it. They just hope that if nobody discusses it, nobody will care.

How bad is it when even the pathological liars in the Trump Crime Family can't make them look good?

I don't agree with it but completely understand it. For the past few months, Liberals and Lib outlets have been throwing numbers out about doomsday scenarios regarding covid and how everyone is going to die and it's all because of one person...yet when those numbers are proven to be wrong as time passes and the months go by that prove their statements are inaccurate, they don't own up to it at all. Libs just want something to whine and cry about to feed their ego. They will do the same thing with any numbers the WH releases. They will spin it to be the worst thing ever and show how the numbers prove our country is failing and how bad this country is and all the other hate they spew. But then when the country still lives and things are still progressing and the economy is fine, they don't apologize for spreading the hate. They don't self-introspect to find ways to improve themselves so they don't keep spewing the same hate. So why release the numbers?

So, could Dotard not find somebody who was willing to lie for him? I fully expected that they would pull a Combover Quisling and project a 5% GDP increase, and 3% unemployment.
