The national media fixated on scenes of "looting" and repeated rumors of "snipers," describing New Orleans as a "city under siege."

This is so true. Put your gun down and help the looters carry the booty, light their cocktails for them, and bring extra spray paint and bricks. Can never have enough bricks.

And, if your fellow citizens attack law enforcement, throw off your badge and join the insurrection.

Sometimes you're so moral that you turn a blind eye to cops murdering, but are super concerned about spray paint on a wall. Those are conservative values.

Do what the sheriff of Gennessee County, MI did (Flint of contaminated water is the county seat). If every police chief and county sheriff did this, things would turn around overnight:
