Speaking of Antifa, I was watching a Fox News report about thier journalists being accosted by the white house and the talking heads must've repeated the words "Antifa" at least two dozen times. I understand the sarcasm in #1. Why does Fox News keep interjecting Antifa into all of this?

Simple, to take away the focus on White Supremacists, who are their viewers.

Let's get the facts?

The highway was 'being closed', not closed completely.

The tanker was on the road when it was supposed to be open...the time to close it was hours later.

Apparently the road used getting on the highway was not closed yet.

You can't simply turn a tank truck around.

The truck was coming to a stop, not speeding up.

It cant stop on a dime.

Appears the only injury was to the driver, no pedestrians.

Lucky it wasn't a fedex truck.

Lucky nobody tried to loot the truck by opening it.

Lucky...

No luck to it. These were real protesters who had no interest in violence or looting, which is why they were actually at the protest site and not downtown.
They helped and protected the driver.
Good job equating protesting with looting, the establishment has done their job well.

The news said the driver was trying to go through them. That's the OP. All lies IMO.

Why was the driver injured? Why did he have to get out of the truck if he meant no harm?

Real protestors would have let the truck through.

He's been arrested and there was no waiting around to evaluate what to charge him with.
He was the only vehicle actually driving down the road. Other vehicles were parked on the highway.
The people saw him coming and started running for at least 10 seconds before the truck shows in frame.
All the and he is a Trump supporter who even donated money to Trump.

I think him getting out of there with a few bumps and bruises is pretty damn good.

He gave $100 to a pro-Trump PAC in 2016.

#2 Of course Faux News and the GOP are obsessed with Antifa. Wouldn't you be if you were a facist?

#10 - OK. He's a Trump supporter that donated money to the RNC and to a PAC supporting Trump according to the article, not directly to Trump.

Noted.

I hope this was all unintentional, but I've been chased down on the road, twice, when Obama was President by rabid "conservatives" for having a 5x7 "HOPE" sticker on my truck. Insane and intense.

My gut (which isn't worth much) says he was fine with a fantasy about driving into the protesters and then when it became real he, thankfully, started breaking and slowing down. Then again it could all be an accident and a rise in the highway obscured how view until he was up on everyone.

The police will figure it out.

Looks like he was determined to get through, wasn't really paying much attention, and it was not intentional according to the Governor of MN.

Arrested for criminal trespassing not attempted murder.

They didn't create that boogeyman over the last several years to just let it sit on the shelf when they need to blame "the left".

I don't.

If this is the video I saw it wasn't an attack or something. It wasn't an attempt to injure or kill protestors.

It was a truck driving down a road because that was/is the driver's job.

This was a tactic here in STL that pissed me off during the Ferguson unrest. Protest crowds blocked the major interstates at various times, completely halting traffic.

Inevitably there was instances where people had enough of sitting on the interstate unable to move and slowly started moving forward. The protesters, stupidly, would get mad and start attacking the car, which means the driver panicked (rightfully I'd say...) and starting moving faster and less carefully so the protesters...you get the point.
