There's a reason why "freedom of speech" and "freedom of the press" are in the very First Amendment.

The First Amendment of all the amendments.

Even ahead of the Second Amendment.

There are so many of these, they need to determine whether they are aiming for the head. It sure looks like it.

Aside from Dotard referring to them as the enemy of the state, I think the police are targeting the media because they know the media is documenting and reporting on police egregious acts, but they don't seem to understand that so are citizen journalists on Social Media, which might be even more effective!

The only reason to target journalists is to stop them from seeing what you are doing when they are gone.

Journalists keep everyone honest.

Get rid of the journalists and you can claim the protesters did anything and your actions can't be documented.

There are countless videos on the internet of police looking right at journalists before firing on, beating or knocking them over. How many of you still believe Trump's constant use of the terms "fake news" and "enemy of the people" haven't encouraged this? It's intentional. He wants you to think the media can't be trusted so no matter what it reported he and his followers already have a built-in response.

Also, rubber bullets might not be as lethal as metal ones, but they're still extremely dangerous, as you see in the photo.

Gosh you mean years of the moron king calling the press the enemy actually made moron cops want to attack the press? Shocker.

They'd also love to attack hillary clinton, climate scientists, mexican immigrants, and anyone else their moron king tells them to blame their ------ lives on.

Dictators and wanna-be-strongmen always attack the press and attempt to form a single, official source of information; one that they can control. (Sound familiar?) The would-be strongman wants you to believe that he alone is your savior and that anyone who speaks or acts against him is a radical psycho and an enemy of the "good." It's a simple, schoolyard bully tactic but it works time and time again.
