Trump's approval has fallen from a high of 45.8% in mid-March to a low of 41.9% today. Remember, FiveThirtyEight is the same poll analysts who predicted Trump had about a 35% chance to win the election and the Trump campaign agreed with.

It is a known fact that most black folks didn't vote in 2016.

I hope that changes in 2020.

His approval could go lower. This seems too high.

Just like the Mormons, evangelicals will still find a way to vote for Bunker B____ overwhelmingly in November though.

Trump will be stomped in November by 250,000 COVID-19 dead Americans. But he will not leave the White House. Count on it.

The approval rate seems to be taking a drop on the chart.

Eh. We're always talking about 4-7 percentage points with Trump because that's all he's really moved in the entire term.

There's a basement 35% who will never turn against him. The squishy 6-12% are just trying too hard to be pragmatic.

That's pretty much my view as well, which is why I'm still calling the odds better than 50-50 for his re-election.

However, I am watching this current drop to see how low the approval rating drops. Looking around various right-leaning websites, I'm noticing more concerns being expressed about Pres Trump's leadership and where he is bringing the Country.

That trend is really apparent here:

The dems need to broadcast the words of generals like Mattis day and night into the MAGA sphere. Forget about trying to get them to care about police killing black men.
Make the MAGAts choose between the military they knell for and Trump who they swallow for. Get them to spit.

I've been watching disapproval. It's remained pretty steady as well but even if approval stays where it is but disapproval starts making gains I'll feel more comfortable about his chances of losing.

On the upside Americans are soon to see a lot more of Ivanka's cleavage. On the downside everyone's Facebook page is about to be bombarded with Russian spam...

He will leave office on January 20, 2021 at noon once he loses the election on November 3rd.
He won't have a choice. The secret service and dc police will take him out in Cuffs and shackles if that is what it takes. He'll leave all red faced, stomping, and yelling, but He will leave.

I think Trump will be in Mar-a-Lago on November 3rd watching the election results.

There's no way he's going to be in D.C. when the hammer falls. Nor will he make that concession phone call to Joe Biden. He's just not that big a person.

No, he'll be stomping around and tweeting about a rigged election, Antifa and demanding recounts before the final votes are even counted.

No, he'll be stomping around and tweeting about a rigged election...

That's pretty much what he was doing in 2016 until Hillary stole the prize he was after... winning the popular vote but not having to do the job.

What the evangelicals who continue to support Trump 'no matter what' should do is buy a "Convenient Bible"

It only has Leviticus (from the Old Testament) and is devoid of anything Christ, the namesake of Christianity, said.

Because that's how they act and think. There's always an 'out' that gives them an excuse to justify just about anything in opposition to what Christ taught.
