The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has revoked its emergency use authorization for hydroxychloroquine, the unproven coronavirus treatment Donald Trump repeatedly boosted and even (said he) took himself. The FDA says it has concluded that "it is no longer reasonable to believe that oral formulations of HCQ and CQ may be effective in treating COVID-19, nor is it reasonable to believe that the known and potential benefits of these products outweigh their known and potential risks."

Trump should do the right thing and put the 29 million doses he bought back into circulation for lupus patients who've been finding it unavailable.

Official people and agencies seem less frightened of Trump recently. I think they've been positioning themselves f0r a transfer of power. Might work for a few of them. I don't know what William Barr is going to do, though. Apply for asylum in the Phillipines?

Proof of executive negligence. Like any of us paying attention needed it.

More like William Barr will seek asylum in Russia. I am in the Philippines and we do not want that fascist here. Trump is a dirty word in the Philippines. A lot of Filipinos have family in the USA. Filipinos in the USA are very highly anti-Trump and they tell their family here that.

There is no way any physician allowed the Orange Loudmouth to take this stuff. Trump may have gotten some and taken it on his own, but a physician whose primary patient is an impetuous child attracted to shiny objects or a good set of knockers must spend the day lunging to get scissors, household cleaners and most medicines out of reach of this idiot...

Well good ... so we can stop the nonsense and those who need it aren't rationed so some orange cl0wn can do a social experiment.

RIGHT/TRITE is correct. Hydrochloroquine was given "emergency use only" (under strict doctor's supervison) approval by the FDA when Trump needed it . . . and removed the approval when Trump's finished his treatment.

Does this mean Trump thinks he's cured and can't get it again or can't pass it along to somebody else?

I wonder how long he had COVID-19 and who he infected before he was diagnosed. If indeed he did have COVID-19 (we don't know that for proof positive) there's a long list of possible infections.

Here's a January 2018 article from The Atlantic. He had to use two hands back in 2017. Stroke? Something else?

www.theatlantic.com

There's been something wrong with him for at least a couple of years.

For Bunker Baby, hydrochloroquine is to COVID-19 what a Sharpie is to the weather.
