"We are still grossly inadequate. We're so far behind."

That's wonderful news. Less cases!

Thanks Republicans.

You should leave the country and make it a safer place to live for all of us.

Time to build walls between the states and place checkpoints at the borders? New York is requiring a 14 day quarantine to enter. We just returned to the horse and buggy era.

14 days to get into New York!

So we can Change our name officially to the Divided States of America now? Seems we are there now.

Thanks Trumpy.

Heck of a job!

First they have to find a country willing to take them. Because of Trump's mishandling of COVID19 most countries don't want American visiting.

@#4 ... New York is requiring a 14 day quarantine to enter. ...

New York, New Jersey and Connecticut all put the 14-day quarantine into place, sine New York City (and its airports) is the tri-state hub.

My how the tables have turned. Trumpy was gonna send everyone back to their "S" hole country and he was gonna keep all them Muslims out until we found out what was going on.

Turns out what was going on is that WE are the "S" hole country and no one wants us in their country until we figure out what's going on...

Arizona is preparing to implement SCORECARDS to determine eligibility for receiving care in a COVID world with limited supplies.

The elderly & people with pre-existing conditions immediately fall into a lower category of priority due to life expectancy.

COVID-19 Addendum: Allocation of Scarce Resources in Acute Care Facilities
Recommended for Approval by State Disaster Medical Advisory Committee (SDMAC) " 6/12/2020

If time permits, facilities that have reached Contingency or Crisis Levels and face shortages of resources (hospital beds, ICU beds, ventilators, dialysis machines, etc.) should work with other facilities to see if these resources are available elsewhere. If time does not permit and/or other facilities are short on critical resources, triage protocols as outlined here will go into effect. The Arizona Department of Health Services will coordinate
information regarding the Contingency and Crisis Indicators and lead the decision-making process of transitioning to Contingency or Crisis Levels.

Somewhat related, as news of vaccines a starting to make the headlines...

FDA Covid Vaccine Guidance Throws Cold Water on Trump 2020 Goal
www.bloomberg.com

...With the FDA's standards for an emergency use authorization not much lower than what's needed for full approval, the first authorization seems more likely to happen in early 2021, said Geoffrey Porges, an analyst with SVB Leerink.

The agency's guidance, published on Tuesday, said any vaccine candidate would need to prove itself at least 50% more effective than a placebo to earn an approval, and that merely showing immune response data would not be enough....

Trump ludicrously claimed to Fox Business just now that "I think we're gonna be very good with the coronavirus. I think that at some point that's going to sort of just disappear, I hope." (The virus will not disappear on its own.)

#9 Wow, it's worse than I thought:

#COVIDIOT Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said he doesn't need advice from Dr. Fauci.

Patrick claimed Fauci has "been wrong every time on every issue," and "He doesn't know what he's talking about."

New cases of #coronavirus in #Texas are soaring with 75,000 in the past 3 weeks.

@#16 ... Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said he doesn't need advice from Dr. Fauci. ...

Of course, that implies that Tx Lt Gov Patrick had been listening to Dr Fauci.

To me it looks like he is trying to set up Dr Fauci as the person responsible for what is happening in Texas now, i.e., listening to Dr Fauci was a mistake for Texas.

What ever happened to Republicans being the party of personal responsibility?

Now it seems to be the party of blaming someone else for its own errors.
