This is the thread where the cold reality sinks in that the imaginary "BLM" looters and thugs have more common sense then the real Trumps Liars and thieves

@#1

I have to agree, not fully, but mostly.

I have watched the video from the WABC-TV7 (New York City) helicopter of the BLM protests and, for the most part, social distancing was respected as they walked the streets of New York CIty.

I also saw the video from ground cameras and, again, for the most part masks were worn.

Now compare those BLM protests to Pres Trump's campaign which insisted that the city hosting the convention cannot have a mask requirement, cannot require social distancing, must allow full occupancy of bars and hotels, among other demands.

Geesh, the Trump campaign demands are so bad that Some Republicans are refusing to attend.

Think about that for a second or two.

The health demands of your campaign for the convention are so bad that members of your own party are refusing to attend the convention.

Now, after you have thought about that, think about how those health demnds affect the Americans you have sworn to defend.

In Houston the BLM protests dwarfed Trump's rally there 100 to 1 and are still going on. Houston cancelled the Republican convention. Mask discipline at protests has improved, but at some points is still terrible.

Yes, but critically they are outdoors.

If the GOP was planning on holding the convention outdoors the same thing would apply. But they weren't to the best of my knowledge, so...

Sort of. 60,000 packed shoulder to shoulder into 2 downtown blocks. 10,000 attended the indoors George Floyd visitation. Dallas packed thousands into a spot directly front of their Police HQ before the Deep Ellum riot. It's like they want to get Covid.

#12 | Posted by sitzkrieg at 2020-07-09 12:44 PM | Reply

But the data hasn't supported that at this point.

And now Trump wants to send al the kids back to school. What could go wrong. He's been so right about everything. Every Governor in America should refuse no matter what kind of threats he make and...any Governor who won't should know they are serving their last time in any political office forever, when you purposefully send children to get sick and possibly die or bring the virus home you are scum...and I am talking to you Lap Dog DeSantis.

Since 60,000 people shoulder to shoulder in 2 city blocks is not infectious at all, and under 6,000 people checked for symptoms before entering a 5 block long convention center is greatly infectious, the Republican convention indoors has been cancelled. Now they are in fact looking at outdoor conventions in Florida and Texas.

Go home politically motivated idiots on all sides. You are not helping.

#20 | Posted by sitzkrieg at 2020-07-10 08:57 AM | Reply

Not infectious at all?
Masked, lower.
You have to put them shoulder to shoulder and not mention masks.
6,000 - Tulsa's already credited Trump's gathering for their spike.
Maskless. Indoors. Duh.
Herman Cain on the phone for you.

Except for the smart people in the upper bowl, what point are you trying to make, Eberly? That because people sat next to each other and yelled and cheered, but it was a big building it should have been all OK? Seriously - not sure what you're trying to say.

Should I show you the lower bowl?

but, we were told by the Democrats that no one showed up to the Rally! WTF

Democrats also push, fund and support Rallys, Protests, Rioters and Looters all over the country! people living in tents using port a potties, raping, fighting, murder, etc..... but no spike. imagine that

We dont have to imagine. We can look at statistics and scientists can tell us what lead to outbreaks.

Smarter people than you have evidence an outdoor march with masks on is less dangerous than an indoor rally without masks.

But when you hear smarter people talk your instinct is to think they're lying to you. Because youre a brainwashed fool.

Well it's official: Republican rallies are no different than gay orgies in the 80s and it's some ways far worse for society.

Give them no quarter and shut down these dens of iniquity at every turn.

President Donald Trump's campaign office, located in northern Virginia just outside of Washington, was forced to shut down after a COVID-19 outbreak.

Politico reported Friday that for a week cleaners were brought into the headquarters to scrub surfaces, disinfect equipment and try and stave off the coronavirus from hitting the campaign more than it already has.

While in Tulsa, Oklahoma, eight members of Trump's advance team contracted the coronavirus, including Secret Service agents. While in Arizona the following week, more of Trump's Secret Service got the virus. To make matters worse, when Trump headed to South Dakota for a Fourth of July celebration, his son's girlfriend, who also works on the campaign, contracted the virus.

Then a senior campaign official got the virus, and the Virginia Trump headquarters were shut down.

"The campaign's lack of safety protections were visible during Vice President Mike Pence's visit to the office last month, during which he posed for a photo with more than 70 campaign staff, closely packed together and without wearing face coverings " an image that infuriated local officials, who called on Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam to take action and enforce state public health orders on universal masking indoors and social distancing. But Northam, a Democrat, ultimately declined to do so," reported Politico.
