Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt announced Wednesday he had tested positive for the coronavirus weeks after attending President Donald Trump's rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

When asked whether he may have contracted the virus while attending Trump's rally last month in Tulsa, where the governor was seen without a mask, Stitt said he thought it was "too long ago" for that to be the source of the spread.

Stitt said he didn't think the virus could be dormant for that long "based on the science."

"It's too long ago. It wasn't that," said Oklahoma Commissioner of Health Lance Frye, adding it was "unknown" where the governor was infected.

... "based on the science." ...

Funny how he is all "based on science" now.

But wear a mask "based on science" in a crowd attending an indoor event?

That seems to be beyond his ken.

"Asked whether he may have contracted the virus at Trump's rally last month, when the governor was seen without a mask, Stitt said it was "too long ago" for that to be the source."

26 days until he had the test and announced the results so it is entirely possible that he did get infected at the Trump rally but he just doesn't want to feed into the critics view that holding rallies without social distancing or masks is entirely irresponsible and dangerous.

Gov. Stitt has been all about 'Look at me! I'm a smart businessman! I have a successful company so I'll be a successful governor.' He is plainly one of the dumbest, worst businessmen I've ever encountered. Only in Okiehomie (well, maybe Arkansas and Louisiana too) can a general studies major like Stitt be considered smart and successful...

His family is probably safe from getting it from him but think of his poor mistress!
