Trump looks like he's in pain in that picture.

Trumpy is definitely full of something.

But it's not morals, ethics or good judgement. That's for sure.

Danni

He probably ate a can of Goya beans and was holding in a fart.

What else does he have to do other than watch Faux News? He doesn't know how to do anything else and doesn't care about anything else.

He is owning you libs!

Promoting beans from a pro-Trump company.
Letting 135,000 people die.

Do you feel owned yet?

...yeah, me neither...

Idiot Republicans strike again.

I love the idea of Trump/GOP-supporting fools running out to buy and consume a bunch of beans and then torturing themselves and their loved ones with the predictable results.

Way to go guys! You're really showing the libs who's boss. Make sure to double up on your bleach and Lysol injections too.

I feel so owned. sob. Please, Republicans, please stop putting me in my place like this. I feel like such a loser.

They need to stock up on Beano and Imodium.

From a legal standpoint.

Is the president allowed to advertise a product from in the Oval Office?

No. And neither is entitlement Barbie.

But when have they ever been concerned with following the law?

Probably not. But given all of the other illegal acts Trump has committed, often publicly declaring them, does it really matter? The guy is a crook, swindler, and criminal and the entire GOP is enabling it.

Next time the GOP clutches their pearls over a president taking his wife on monthly date night or for lying about oral sex I'll be sure to give it all the attention it is due.

Trump is a horrible joke but the GOP is worse. I wonder how many voters the GOP has permanently lost by supporting Trump's kakistocracy.

I don't know.....but I would think not.

Or would the law not prohibit the promotion of a product but rather prohibit the president or his wife to be compensated for such promotion?

#17 | Posted by eberly at 2020-07-16 12:35 PM | Reply

Legal or not, it is classless.

He does look like he's holding back one heck of a fart. Or he shart himself.

They ordered someone to go out and buy the products and they were most likely thrown into the garbage after the picture was taken.

WINNING! KEEP AMERICA GREAT!

This is the most Herbert Camacho thjng that President Donald J. TRUMP has done

He looks like Troy McClure up there.

#4 He doesn't exactly strike me as a fart-holder. He seems more like the "have his buddies hold you down while he farts in your face" kind of guy.

I agree with everyone - he appears too "into" this product placement. If only Trump would display this much enthusiasm for stimulus checks to the 99%, instead we get beans.

#24 | Posted by redlightrobot at 2020-07-16 02:51 PM | Reply

Every other bean manufacturer should stand up and demand that they also have equal representation from the White House. Why should Goya get added promotion on El Pato's tax paying dime?

I have always been advised that if you can't promote one product, because then you'd have to promote them all.

Flood the White House with demands for equal representation.

Government shouldn't pick winners and loser in a free market.

#25 | Posted by memyselfini at 2020-07-16 07:04 PM | Reply

Alas, that is the least of Trump's offenses to be concerned with, unless of course you manufacture canned beans.

#26 | Posted by memyselfini at 2020-07-16 07:05 PM | Reply

It's not illegal. Obama openly promoted Solyndra. Nobody questioned whether him doing so was illegal.
