Before he was diagnosed, Cain had been making preparations for a weekly television show on Newsmax TV.

Perhaps they can replace him with Louie Gohmert....

2020 is a year of death. So many dying,so much pain and loss. It seems like 5 normal years of deaths in six months.

Herman Cain is just the beginning. So many more will die or be maimed by this horror.

I didn't agree with him politically, but I'm sorry he died for nothing because he went to that damned rally to Trump's ego.

Trump has a lot of death and disability on his concience.

I doubt he even cares.

Trump's going to be pissed that Herman Cain will get more attention than him today.

It's guaranteed Trump is scheming how to spin Cain's death to make himself look good.

Maybe Cain was sick to death of winning.

Perhaps he'd be alive if he heeded Dr. D. Trump's advice to consume hydroxychloroquine.

Sad that he died for a man who'd never sacrifice anything for anyone...ever.

RIP.

@#15 ... Another example of why we need to hold the Chinese responsible. Trump had nothing to do with the virus, what a stupid comment....

Pres Trump had plenty to do with how the virus spread widely and wildly across the United States.

Indeed, in the early days of the virus and continuing until as recently as this week, Pres Trump appears to have joined forces with what he called the "invisible enemy" to wreak havoc and destruction upon the health of Americans.

Pres Trump had plenty of opportunities to significantly mitigate the effects of the virus upon Americans.

He chose instead to politicize it in the hopes that it would help his re-election campaign.

... what a stupid comment ...

I'm not convinced the comment you are responding to is the stupid one.

So many angles to rip on

Like

- - Herman Cains heirs"

Or
"Now trump wears a mask"
- - an intubated Herman Cain"

And even
"People are fed up with masks so what's 4 weeks of organ failure in comparison"
- - not Herman Cains Ghost

But I think I will do like a certain poster here does and explicitly write these things and then pantomime that I am not writing these things

Someone else summed up it here best; "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes"

#15 | POSTED BY GTJR

In the beginning, you were right. He had PLENTY of influence convincing a sizable portion of the country early on that this was nothing to take seriously and that everyone should move forward status-quo. IOW, he took on the virus with nothing but apathy; hence, 'Trump had nothing to do with the virus...' and had nothing to do with helping protect his constituents from it.

Massive mistake both politically and for the health of the nation as a whole, clearly.

You are unable to see the forest for the trees.

The subject of Cain's death is directly related to Trump via the location Cain contracted the virus: Trump's Tulsa rally where he and MANY others refused to wear a mask.

It's not that difficult to understand why Trump is at the center of Cain's death: His politicization of the Corona virus led to Cain's instance against appropriately protecting himself. That stemmed from Trump's leadership. Had Trump taken the opposite tact and worn a mask, encouraged others to wear a mask, had taken the virus seriously MONTHS ago, there is a significantly good chance the Cain would still be here today.

The acknowledgement of Trump's failure to lead is central to this discussion. Remember, Trump made this political; he has brought this upon himself.

It's hyper literal and rather obtuse.

Herman not wearing a mask was a political position. He got it behaving as he wanted others to behave and was in a large group of like minded people.

Your point might be valid if he got it from the unmasked guy at a grocery store. Not the case.

For one, there is a lot of fraudulent accounting. There is no test that can distinguish Covid 19 from a common cold virus.

Two, without knowing a person's prior health history, the statistics are meaningless.

Three, when compared to chronic diseases like cancer, heart disease, obesity and diabetes, the statistics as published are insignificant.

Overall, I would say that Americans have an eating problem. That's what the statistics tell me.

It's the pissing on pants analogy.

If a person you're standing near is pissing (remember those pissing troughs at football games back in the 80s and 90s), but not wearing any pants, odds are you both will get piss on you. Should you be wearing pants but not the person pissing, you will get some piss on you, but not nearly as much piss as you would had you not been wearing pants. Now, should BOTH of you be wearing pants while the person next to you is pissing, you're pretty much guaranteed not to get any piss on you.

Same principal with masks.

There was the guy who gave himself ulcers from H.pylorii by drinking a beaker of it.
Prior to that, the medical community was adamant that ulcers are from stress; there's no bacterial infection component, because it was said no bacteria could survive in the low pH of the stomach.
In our ethics class, it was implied that stunt is widely regarded as "the wrong way to prove your point."

But, on the other hand, it's hard to argue with results, and that basically opened up a completely new way of thinking about ulcers, and was a necessary step to get to where we are now, which is beginning to understand the connections of the gut microbiome to overall health.

Absolutely agree.

Really quick, I put the Virus Mania book on my list for purchase, as it's currently unavailable. But the following gives me pause:

[On] p. 117-118. The authors cited a 10-year study of heterosexual transmission of HIV. The book claims that in the study, "not a single case could be uncovered in which HIV negative partner eventually became 'positive' (or seroconverted') through sexual contact with his or her HIV positive partner. That is to say, the observed transmission rate was zero." That is not what I found when I looked up the study. The study by N S Padian et al, called "Heterosexual Transmission of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) in Northern California: Results From a Ten-Year Study," found that "68 (19%) of the 360 female partners of HIV-infected men and two (2.4%) of the 82 male partners of HIV-infected women were infected." That is certainly more than a "single case" but it doesn't prove the author's point.

Any response? That's the sort of thing I take issue with. Should your (the author's) narrative be accurate, the presentation of evidence should be accurate as well. The above, apparently, was not presented accurately.

Pasteur vs. Bechamp: An Alternative View of Infectious Disease maronewellness.com

Pasteurization, named after scientist Louis Pasteur who developed it, involves heating raw milk to very high temperatures in order to kill the germs and bacteria inside the milk and prevent infections. The idea is that "germs are bad" and that they are the cause of disease and ill health. Following that assumption, it makes sense that "killing germs" would be the solution to both treating and preventing states of disease. This is the basic concept"that germs (virus, bacteria, etc.) are the cause of illness"upon which Western medicine is based.

Ever read the directions on one of those packages of Lysol disinfectant WIPES? It clearly states you have to keep the infected surface moist with the wipes in question for FOUR MINUTES in order to reap the benefits as advertised.

Does anyone here on the DR wipe down their surfaces repeatedly for four minutes when using these wipes? If you're not, you're wasting your money, apparently.

The book claims that in the study, "not a single case could be uncovered in which HIV negative partner eventually became 'positive' (or seroconverted') through sexual contact with his or her HIV positive partner."

^
This statement, while demonstrably false from thousands of counterexamples, also has enough room to drive a syringe through it, if they became HIV+ that way.

Trump WH Reportedly Ditched National Testing Plan in April Because Virus Was Only Hitting Blue States' Hard
www.mediaite.com

The plan was a "starting point," Eban writes, but it didn't come together because people in April thought the virus would soon go away. Vanity Fair continues:

Against that background, the prospect of launching a large-scale national plan was losing favor, said one public health expert in frequent contact with the White House's official coronavirus task force.

Most troubling of all, perhaps, was a sentiment the expert said a member of Kushner's team expressed: that because the virus had hit blue states hardest, a national plan was unnecessary and would not make sense politically. "The political folks believed that because it was going to be relegated to Democratic states, that they could blame those governors, and that would be an effective political strategy," said the expert.

That logic may have swayed Kushner. "It was very clear that Jared was ultimately the decision maker as to what [plan] was going to come out," the expert said.

Thanks, Jared. People are dying because of your political 'plan.' And RAY's hammering the idea that the pandemic, in and of itself, is a political hoax? The hoax is that Trump's White House has any interest in supporting America as a whole. They despise Democrats so badly that they would blame Democratic governors for poor response to a national epidemic. That's the most credible 'political' conspiracy I've ever heard mainly because it fits the narrative and the evidence Trump has provided through inaction/apathy/ignorance/naivete/etc.

If what RAY suggests is true and that the metals/elements/poison contained in vaccines is what is actually leading to our illnesses, why wouldn't the following be far more concerning:

In a normal day, we breathe, eat or drink 30-50 mg of aluminum, more than 20 times the maximum allowed dose in a vaccine.

It's proven that people living in cities have a higher probability of early death. This is especially true for the Black community. Where's the outcry against pollution to keep people from being poisoned, RAY?

The relegation of a large majority of the Black community having to live in the inner city (which was recently exacerbated by Mr. Trump) is a systemic issue. Which means early death lead to being poisoned by pollution is a symptom of systemic racism.

RAY, I'm asking you in all sincerity, why are you not consistently outraged against this matter of fact? No conspiracy needed, Trump's statements notwithstanding.

There's a lot of junk science out there and it's relatively easy to accumulate a bunch of it to publish a book aimed at people searching for sources that are willing to fit the reader's preconceived narrative; refusing to challenge and progress science and medicine utilizing proper methodology.

These particles are then identified by antibody
and PCR tests and interpreted as epidemic-causing viruses by doctors who have been inoculated for over
100 years by the theory that microbes are deadly and only modern medications and vaccines will protect
us from virus pandemics.

^
In point of fact, doctors are saying zero medications and zero vaccines will protect us from this viral pandemic. (Well, I guess there's remdesivir or whatever, but it's in short supply.)

The thing doctors are saying will protect us from this viral pandemic has nothing to do with medicine, because according to doctors, medicine can't stop it.

The thing doctors are saying will protect us from this viral pandemic is washing your hands, social distancing, and limiting your exposure and contact with others. Exposure can be greatly limited when people wear masks in public settings, to prevent the spread of droplets.

I developed a strong interest in disease prevention over fifty years ago. I'm still learning.
The key is to learn to trust your body. Pay attention to anything that doesn't feel right.
It tells us when we're doing right and when we're doing wrong.

Again, not very challenging.

Yet, I'm still curious, were you purposefully seeking out sources that fit your preconceived narrative?

Ray, what does the immune system actually do, if the germ theory of disease is false?

The body has a waste removal system to keep itself clean. When the waste accumulates faster than the system can eliminate, it backs up. Then it decomposes and becomes acidic. Then acidic waste causes inflammation. Bacteria and viruses serve to clean up waste, what we call infectious disease. Beyond that, diseases become chronic.

#236 | Posted by Ray at 2020-07-30 11:04 PM | Reply | Funny: 1

These particles are then identified by antibody
and PCR tests and interpreted as epidemic-causing viruses by doctors who have been inoculated for over
100 years by the theory that microbes are deadly and only modern medications and vaccines will protect
us from virus pandemics.

I'm curious what the alternative explanation is that fully explains antibody and immune response development, fulfillment of Koch's postulates and our ability to use molecular biology and not just serology to identify pathogens and pathogenic functions.

FF!

It takes a special kind of narcissism to say viruses aren't pathogens but are results of internal processes.

Apparently everybody who catches a virus have the same internal problem independently. The notion of a virus transmitting from host to host is complete crap!

It's called deductive logic. I start with the premise that the body has its own intelligence. It's always seeking homeostasis.
What follows must conform to the premise.

If the premise is wrong, then what follows will be wrong. The allopathic theory is clearly wrong. There is plenty of evidence by the fact that Americans are not getting healthier, they are getting sicker. So are medical costs.

It's a word with a real definition.

Not a catchall that's "stuff we can't know because I say so."

Every outlandish thing you say isn't supported by even simple conceptual frameworks of biology and infectious diseases.

I'll dig a little deeper, why does the immune system function on antigen processing and presentation?

Why do all immune development pathways have positive and negative selection processes that weed out auto-reactive cells at the very beginning of the immune system development? Why do they require co-stimulatory signals to properly activate and expand to mount a response such that lack of co-stimulatory signaling results in an aborted process in that cell?

How is the body suddenly producing a substance that's foreign to the immune system despite the immune system's development being initiated by selecting self-reacting cells from circulation?

You don't take issue with that because you 'don't want to debate'? I'm not asking for a debate. I'm asking why said red flag does not give you pause as it relates to your being influenced by the conclusions of the book. You're the one making stark claims about evidence, science, and the medical establishment as a whole. And when I bring something into question about a source that not only supports your POV, but one you seem to be relying on, you're not interested in explaining why that simple aspect does not give you pause?

You know, if you're so established in parsing information over the long time that you've invested (more than me just by age), you would have recognized when it's appropriate to admit that the source of your perspective could be erroneous. Over my lifetime, I've solved many health issues of my own through research, trial and error.
My body is the ultimate test that no amount of laboratory experiment can match.

A living body is a highly intelligent, highly complex, dynamic system consisting of tens of trillions cells and microbes.

When you treat it like it's dumb, you're only inviting trouble. That's what the deteriorating health of Americans bears out.

The ease by which this fake pandemic spread tells me how ignorant Americans are of their body.

There will always be people who for whatever reason (arrogance, narcissism, an unacknowledged need to feel special...) think they've got it all figured out and are the next Galileo.

And I can't refute Ray's pseudo-science because he doesn't even give enough information for it to be refuted. It's a well crafted sphere of garbage with no toe holds or gaps in its circular, untestable assertions to even begin to dispute it.

He's basically saying "God did it, prove me wrong."

If you had any intelligence or actual scientific knowledge you would know that.

I knew decades ago that HIV was a medical fraud from the works of Peter Deusberg.

You have to be entirely ignorant of how HIV works to believe the "works fiction of Peter Duesberg."

What's funny, though, is that you believe Duesberg at all considering he doesn't deny HIV is a virus or that viruses aren't pathogens that spread from host to host. He just denies that HIV causes AIDS.

The medical establishment goes to a lot of trouble to keep the public ignorant and in a state of fear of their body.

"Ray, you do know that it isn't just America that is enduring the pandemic?"

This gets to the heart of Ray's delusions. He'll latch on to a correct idea, like Unlimited Debt is Bad, or Healthy Life Choices Increase Longevity...but then he goes off on idiotic tangents, like "Dow 1400" or "HIV is a fake". And as he's admitted, he'll only research the idiots who come to the same conclusion as him. At one point he was citing a blogger, whose "expert" had been out of the field for two decades. TWO DECADES.

Most telling was when I asked him, point-blank, when he realized "Dow 1400" was dead wrong, and what he learned from that epiphany.

His response was he wasn't wrong.

And now, he's awash in self-congratulations on his health choices, after admitting longevity genes run in his family. Yet somehow...he can't make any connection between the two.

Ray claims he uses "deductive logic", but what he's really using is "motivated reasoning". He starts with a premise, then only accepts the "evidence" that supports his premise. Anything that might disprove it is conveniently discarded. For example, all the medical studies that support germ theory are simply fraudulent. Why are they fraudulent? Because they support germ theory, which is clearly wrong. Smallpox just vanished on its own, conveniently in time with the mass vaccination of the population. That it disappeared from each region at the same time the vaccine was widely adopted was either a random coincidence or part of the conspiracy to support germ theory. Simple.

His assertion "I start with the premise that the body has its own intelligence. It's always seeking homeostasis." is akin to the flat-Earthers' "water seeks its own level". It conveniently ignores the "why" and "how" and simply uses it as an unquestionable axiom without it really meaning anything.
