Interesting, but not really surprising, phrasing from Pres Trump.

Watch Trump attack even more allies as the death rate mounts.

He's gonna have to dig deep into his barrel of Demon Doctors to find anyone willing to go to bat for his asinine and negligent response to the TrumpVirus.

No one told Trumpty Dumpty how hard science would be.

Hang in there Drs. Birx and Fauci.

Fauci? Yes.

Birx? No. She needs to go.

As usual when Trump gets something right it's for the wrong reasons.

No confidence in a doctor who just sits there and sort of nods when Trumpty-Dumpty asks about injecting disinfectants and sticking lightbulbs where the sun don't shine? Say it isn't so!

Easy yes or no question: Do you agree with Speaker Pelosi with regard to Dr. Birx?

Birx knows what she is doing. She's been playing Trump's stupid game. If she has stopped playing along then it is because she recognizes he is no longer of use to her goal of protecting the country.

I can't wait for Dr. Birx's book to come out.

"Fire, Fury and Fatalities"

Or something along those lines.

I couldn't disagree more. She's just another scientist from that generation who refuses to let go and walk away in their sunset years.

Birx should have been speaking the truth all along, but apparently she thought she could somehow thread the needle between reality and her psychopathic boss's exclusive focus on "optimism" that benefits Donald Trump. As it turns out, she protected neither the public nor her standing with President Orange-u-Tan.

By the time Birx realized her equivocation was a losing proposition, it was too late: The public was so confused by her conflicting advice that people mostly stopped listening to her, and Trump was turning downright hostile. She blew her chance to make amends. Her place in Trumpian history will be that of enablement through passivity. Not as blatantly evil as, say, William Barr or Jared Kushner, but far short of valuable public servant.

"Her place in Trumpian history will be that of enablement through passivity."

The GOP is outdoing even Neville Chamberlain when it comes to appeasement!

I watched her speak off script and start telling the truth. She looked absolutely terrible, like she'd been having a long battle with her conscience.

Later I heard a report that Trump was furious. I suppose now her days are numbered. If so I wonder if she knows how lucky she is.

What's pathetic is that she would abandon standards and her sully her reputation in order to pander to an orange man-baby. Telling the media that Dotard's history in business means he understood the data was beyond appalling, especially when everybody knows that Donald Trump is without a doubt one of the worst "businessmen" to ever live. She was co-opted by Drumpf from the start and you could not believe a word out of her mouth. That seems to have changed this past weekend.

To work for trump, you have to either lie for him, or get attacked and replaced. End of story.
