"coronavirus relief package that could cost more than $1 trillion"

Um...

Current dollar GDP decreased 34.3 percent, or $2.15 trillion, in the second quarter to a level of $19.41 trillion. www.bea.gov

And Rand Paul doesn't even want to bail out less than half that?

Libertarians are some of the stupidest people in America.

Rand Paul voted for the $2.3 trillion tax giveaway to the world's wealthiest. He has no room to talk. Maybe he should just stick with retweeting Judge Napolitano's views on guns and tyranny.

The blind squirrel finds a nut...

Of course if he was truly honest he would have know this long ago.

If he was actually truly honest he would have never even entered government "service" to begin with. He's the epitome of hypocrisy.

It's astonishing how Republicans won't bail out consumers, when consumer spending is 70% of GDP.

These guys are like plantation owners who want to get rid of all the slaves, then wonder why the cotton isn't getting picked and how come they're not rich any more.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) tore into his fellow Republicans on Fox News Wednesday for considering a coronavirus relief package that could cost more than $1 trillion,

Randy in 2017: Here billionaires....have another $2,000,000,000,000 that we will have to borrow for.

Randy in 2020: ---- you middle class who are out of work.

Rand Paul really needs to move to a different country. His kind is not needed here.

Republicans winding up to return to their "roots" in anticipation of a Democratic takeover?

Me thinks so.

Just wait and see how fiscally responsible they become (again) if Biden wins..............

Republicans are like aliens. They bleed everything they can get while in control, and then when the planet is lifeless, they give control back............

Rand Paul should apologize to America for existing. He is a detriment to our society and only exists in politics by appealing to haters. There should not be any place in our politics for a low life like him. And Rand, take that squirrel off you head. Is it surprising that some dumb ass names their kid after a pathetic author who wrote books based on total nonsense turns out to be a waste of space?

Soooooooooooooooooooooooo dumb. If that's the case, then Dems need to apologize to Reps for blaming W. on spending too much. And Reps need to apologize to Clinton for his spending (disregarding the myth that Clinton got rid of deficit which usually comes from people who have no clue what he actually did). And on and on. Both sides are dumb.

Clinton got rid of the deficit.

Obama reduced the deficit despite a recession and the W tax cuts.

What would Democrats have to apologize for?

Just print more. There's nothing behind it anyhow. Get rid of the federal reserve, put the treasury in charge of the money supply and crank up the printing presses.

Easy.

Losing the 2016 election and leaving hundreds of thousands of Americans to die at the hands of Humpy and the deplorables?

Just guessing here.

Because I, for one, am very sorry about that America.

BOTH SIDES doesn't work in the age of trump.

Only ONE side sold out every one of their principles and joined the cult of a lifelong con artist.

As a Kentuckian, I do hereby apologize for Rand Paul. And Mitch McConnell. And Thomas Massie.

Not that I would ever vote for any of them.

Republicans have never been concerned about debt and deficits when they've had Congress and the White House too.

They save all their hand ringing and THE END IS NEAR! complaining for when there's a Democrat in the WH trying to dig out from under the mess they left.

"Republicans ... save all their hand ringing and THE END IS NEAR! complaining for when there's a Democrat in the WH"

Absolutely. The next time a Republican bitches about the deficit, tell them you've got $2.3 Trillions reasons for them to STFU.
