Well VP Squinty Eyes, the job of the court is interpret the law in accordance with the Constitution and not enact a cancervative christian sharia law agenda.

Wonder if this just made sure Roberts gives the GOP the middle finger whenever he can.

God I hope so.

The deciders have decided based on a decision made long ago.

What were Republicans saying about activist judges?

"The deciders have decided..."

No they haven't. They are very UNdecided about what to do actually.

Also. The Deciderer President retired many years ago.

Now we have the Not My Responsibility President.

You got that right.

Looks like the DR legal team and protectors of "law and order" are busy being experts on ammonium nitrate and Hezbollah right now

They can't comment on the apparent disregard for constitutional or statutory law articulated by the VP of the USA
It's almost as if these people think justice only comes in their preferred flavor.

Too bad Chief Justice Roberts isn't free to announce in public how disappointed HE is with Trump's anti-constitutional administration.

This is what this nation has come to. A nation of party first rather than people and laws first. Then again the retarded president of law and order was never really serious about his statement either.

This is the Overton Window moving so far to the right in just fifteen years that it's moved John Roberts from the Right to the Left.

Of course Deplorables will tell you the exact opposite. Just like Bolsheviks insist Stalin wasn't true Communism, they're warming up to the idea that Bush wasn't real Republicanism. And if Trump somehow ever leaves office they'll be the first to tell you Trump wasn't a real Republican.

As the leader of the administration's efforts to control the pandemic that piece of filth has a lot of nerve saying anyone else is a disappointment. No one in the Trump administration should be criticizing the performance of anyone in any other branch of government. The entire administration should just resign in shame. They have failed us totally. 158,000 deaths so far, probably be over 300,000 by the end of the year.

"Too bad Chief Justice Roberts isn't free to announce in public how disappointed HE is with Trump's anti-constitutional administration."

Is there any law that prevents him from doing so?

Roberts has recognized the court's responsibility to America and Americans. Gorsuch might be getting it. Alito and Thomas seem resigned to being the two brats in the corner, left with no other friends or cookies. At this point Kavanaugh seems to recognize only that he is in over his head in his job.

Hang in there RBG--an election is brewing, and so are better days...

DANNI

"Is there any law that prevents him from doing so?"

Not that I'm aware. Only good manners and too much class to wallow in Trump's pig pen, I suppose.

Sometimes silence is golden.
