Nice work, if you can get it...

Just another one of Trump's 'best people'.

This is what 'drain the swamp' looks like. Now it's a vast lake Trump & Co have filled to the brim with bull****.

Two things, the USPS should not have to break even or make a profit, it is a constitutionally mandated service. When was the last time HHS, the US Army or ICE made a profit? Second, in the future, the Postmaster General should NOT be a political appointment, the position should be filled by a bipartisan board of some kind, with input from the postal workers union.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda.

"it is a constitutionally mandated service. "

Trump has already demonstrated that he doesn't give two hoots about the "Constitution."

Replacing the Constitution is what he plans to do in his second term anyway. It's what Russian-esq dictators do to hold onto power.

Requiring the Post Office to fund their pensions out 75 years is killing the Post Office as was the intention of the Republicans who passed the bill requiring such ridiculous expenses. No other agency of the government nor any business requires funding for pensions for people not even born yet.
Just another poison pill brought to you by the party of privatization. Benjamin Franklin started our Post Office which is in the Constitution. It served us well ever since but today, under Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, the service has seriously deteriorated because of his intentionally destructive management. He is doing everything he can to slow the service to demonstrate to unknowing customers that the Post Office is an institution we would be better off privatizing. More people need to realize the Post Office was just fine, didn't depend on tax dollars at all and provided excellent service for over 200 years. These greedy Libertarian Republicans just hate it because they see a profit potential in privatizing it, raising prices for all services and thereby gain billions in profits.

Gunny: with his complaints about 'payments' Trump seems to be setting up the US Military as a for-profit operation...

We have just as corrupt politicians as other banana republics. The difference is that we have nukes!

I was thinking that when I wrote my comments. He's made comments akin to hiring out the US military to countries like Saudi, because they're good payers, not because they're allies in need of assistance. Just like his comments about NATO nations not paying enough, as if that's even a thing! According to Mary Trump, in her family being kind, generous or empathetic is a sign of weakness to be ridiculed. Yet here he is, the world's biggest victim crying about how everything and everyone is so unfair to him.
