The internal watchdog at the United States Postal Service is reviewing controversial policy changes recently imposed under Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, and is also examining DeJoy's compliance with federal ethics rules, according to a spokeswoman for the USPS inspector general and an aide to Sen. Elizabeth Warren, who requested the review.

He just said that, no one thought he actually would.

Big f'n deal and a waste of time. We already know what happens to Inspector Generals.

REDIAL

"Drain the swamp" was 2016 vote bait for Trump's illiterate, bar-stool generals, 2 a.m. last call base of know-nothing, loud mouth, stagger-out-the-door, drive home drunk supporters.

I can see where that kind of social engineering of a campaign has been hamstrung with the advent of a deadly virus PLUS the forced absence of Trump's anti-American propaganda rallies.

Trump has no other choice now but to engage in multiple and overate efforts of outright sabotage, acts of desperation that has not gone unnoticed and is being widely publicized by the media, as well it should be.

If history is any teacher, voters will respond with the only recourse they have ~~ with anger and a massive, overwhelming voter turnout for Joe Biden.

Does anybody know?

What's the over/under for Trump's popularity when he leaves/forced/carried out strapped to a gurney by big, burley men in white coats on January 20, 2021?

Based on the recent past, the USPS IG is probably scanning want ads, expecting he'll get fired before he can do his job.

IF he does his job, the real one, he'll probably be held back by President Biden as an honest broker.

Never thought I would ever hear something like that in America.

But that is where we are. Thru the looking glass.

And FYI.

Minor correction. I think the plural term is Inspectors General.

I think this announcement is so high profile as a way to insulate the IG a little bit. Everybody knows what the accusations are; the IG is investigating, if Drumpf fires him, that becomes another election issue. We initially didn't understand why Dotard fired the State Dept IG. We suspected it was to cover criminal behavior, but we didn't know for sure. Speculation was that it had to do with his eventual oversight of the CARES act money, which was valid as we see without referees, Munchkin made sure most of the money was swallowed up by Trunp/GOP croneys who didn't need it and red states. But it turns out six weeks later that the IG was actually fired to submarine an investigation into our UK Ambassador trying to enrich Combover Caligula by asking to have the British Open moved to Drumpf Turnberry. That is a crime, and not surprisingly, that completed investigation appears to have been disappeared before it saw the light of day.

"USPS Inspector General Reviewing DeJoy's Policy Changes and Potential Ethics Conflicts"

Sounds serious.

Which is why I certainly hope the investigation has been adequately predicated!

That matters more than any findings of deliberate sabotage.

"That matters more than any findings of deliberate sabotage."

You got that right!

Problem is in the Trump mis-administration, truthful Inspectors General have a habit of getting themselves fired.
