Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Thursday, August 20, 2020

President Donald Trump's campaign, ordered by a federal court judge in Pennsylvania to back up its claims of fraud in the state's vote-by-mail system, has documented only a handful of cases of election fraud in recent years -- none of which involved mail-in ballots.

The revelation, which came in the form of a partially redacted 524-page document produced by the Trump campaign last week, undermines the claim by Trump team operatives that mail-in ballot fraud is a grave risk to Pennsylvania voters.

Won't matter if Trump's crony is still running the USPS.

#2 It does matter. If he loses this lawsuit Pennsylvania can provide secure drop boxes for ballots, bypassing the USPS.

As an aside, I wonder if Trump's lawyers ever get tired of their client embarrassing them.

Or do they just take his money and laugh all the way to the bank?

If he even pays them. Trump has a poor reputation when it comes to paying his lawyers. He often contends that if it doesn't win, then there's nothing that he needs to pay for.

I'm thinking these are White House lawyers who are embarrassing themselves.

Surprised Et Al posted this thread but I am glad he did and I respect his, seemingly, new found respect for voter's rights. It should occur to every American that anyone trying to deny voting rights or diminish them is your enemy. They are trying to take away the rights our forefathers fought for for their own personal gain. I welcome Et Al to the cause.

Any SC Justice who voted to eliminate or reduce the importance of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 should be immediately impeached. We need a Supreme Court that actually believes in our right to vote.

The lawsuit was filed by the Trump campaign; there's no way the WH lawyers could represent him here.

"I'm thinking these are White House lawyers who are embarrassing themselves."

The Justice Dept. has become Trump's personal legal counsel.

Next argument is that lack of any evidence of fraud obviously proves that fraud must exist.

Sometimes it feels more like an episode of Abbott and Costello then it does like a real presidential administration.

At this rate, the USPS will soon announce that effective October 1, 2020 no mail will be delivered at all in this country...

Of the very few cases in the last decade or so, of
validated voter fraud, almost all of the cases have
been of registered Republicans attempting to vote in
two or more states.

Another case of Cognitive Displacement, 'Blaming the
other side, for what you, in fact do'...

And now they want to mass produce the effect, by
ruining the Post Office, and sabotaging the election.

Third world, tin pan dictatorship crap. Trump is turning the US into his own private --------.
The Republican party is helping him any way they can. They want to "privatize", all systems of government so they can corruptly skim and pervert the missions of these entities.

No sense of public good, only private corruption for them and their cronies.

It's no wonder that public health is so badly served by them.

That cockroach has the spot light on him right now. Any thought of undermining our he post office scattered as soon as they started grilling him.

He is making all these promises right now. Hold him accountable. Like everyone else is held accountable. Well. Everyone but Trumpy. But his time is coming. No man is above the law.

Trump thinks he is being politically clever by sabotaging the post office but it is going to backfire on him, far too many Americans depend on the USPS for so many things that this is going to piss off millions of voters. It's going to further harm the economy and it is making him look like he's trying to steal the election....because he is. His crooked plan is going to hurt his chances in November.

Pissing off voters by sabotaging the USPS is the kind of thinking that bankrupts casinos. Trump got lucky in 2016 but his luck is about to run out.

... Trump Comes Up Empty for Evidence of Mail-in Ballot Fraud ...

Remember a couple years back when Pres Trump created a much touted White House commission of Trump loyalists to investigate all the voter fraud that Pres Trump alleged had occurred?

That commission was quietly disbanded when they couldn't find evidence of the fraud Pres Trump had been saying occurred.

Hey, DONNERBOY.......I like the "cockroach" name, that really describes the GOP...

It should be named ...The Cockroach Ole Party....they're like cockroaches

It was led by Kris Kobach, who begged the Kansas Legislature for the power to prosecute "hundreds" of cases. After four years and $4 million, Kobach prosecuted nine cases: eight of which were addled western Kansans (read: very heavily R) who had moved and voted again, and one...ONE...was an illegal immigrant. None of the cases were even suggested to be part of any conspiracy.

And...Pennsylvania didn't cite any of these cases, realizing they're all nothingburgers.

Second step.

If you see something. Stomp on it. (If you see something do something!)

It doesn't matter.

He said there was voter fraud and he fought it, that is literally all that the folks in the Trump bubble(Tru-bubble) know of the issue.

And Kris Kobach's name just ended-up on the list of board members of the non-profit that's at the center of the "We Build the Wall" money laundering scam.
