Republican Voters Against Trump, is a PAC headed by former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush's team that most notably collects stories of Republican voters saying why they will not be voting for Trump. The PAC announced Operation Orange Crush: "Florida is a large and complicated state, with ten media markets and over 13.75 million registered voters. The margin of victory there in the last two Presidential elections, however, has been slim: both Obama and Trump wond the last two Florida Presidential contests by fewer than 120,000 votes. Our plan is to surgically target the key 450,000 independents and soft Republicans who will decide the election."

Currently Mr Biden is ahead in Florida, but within the margin of error. So, technically it is a toss-up state for now. ( www.realclearpolitics.com )

Mr Biden does seem to be in a current downward trend in Florida, while Pres Trump is more pr less holding steady.

Will that remain the case going into November?

Make no mistake about these right wing groups trying to defeat the Trumps, it's not that they oppose fascism. They simply want to bring us a kinder, gentler fascism.

What's left whatever their motive if they help us get Trump out of office it's fine.

I'll be happy if they help get rid of Trump. But everyone should understand, if you support liberal/progressive ideology, and if you're giving these groups money... If Biden wins, beginning January 21st, these same groups will not hesitate to start using the money against Biden.

Jeb can't really run for President in 2024 if Trump is reelected in 2020. It becomes Pence's nomination to lose.

#7 - Possibly correct, but I can't imagine that Pence is palatable enough to the vast majority for him to be a viable 2024 candidate. Plus he'll have that orange stain all over him.

Operation Orange Crush.... the name alone deserves kudos.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.... at least for the moment.

The saying is 4th century BC Sanskrit, but it famously has a more recent usage:

"The idea that "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" functioned in various guises as foreign policy by the Allies during World War II. In Europe, tension was common between the Western Allies and the Soviet Union. Despite their inherent differences, they recognized a need to work together to meet the threat of Nazi aggression under the leadership of Adolf Hitler.

Both U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt and British Prime Minister Winston Churchill were wary of the Soviet Union under the leadership of Joseph Stalin. However, both developed policies with an understanding that Soviet cooperation was necessary for the Allied war effort to succeed.[4]

There is a quote from Winston Churchill made to his personal secretary John Colville on the eve of Germany's invasion of the Soviet Union (Operation Barbarossa). He was quoted as saying, "if Hitler invaded Hell, I would make at least a favourable reference to the Devil in the House of Commons."[5]"
